Spruzzo in the Palisades offers a decent atmosphere—nothing overly fancy, but it’s relaxed and comfortable enough to enjoy a casual meal. The food was pretty good overall from what I tasted, and I appreciated that they had a respectable selection of vegan items, which isn’t always the case at similar spots.
Their vegan pizza, topped with vegan cheese and fresh veggies, was spot on—flavorful, nicely balanced, and satisfying without feeling overly heavy. It’s always refreshing to find a place that takes vegan options seriously rather than just throwing together a salad or pasta.
If you’re in the area and want a laid-back spot with solid food and good vegan choices, Spruzzo is definitely worth a visit.

Everything we ordered – minestrone soup, beet salad, calamari. Vodka pasta, etc was beyond good. Our waiters were friendly young girls and boys and were all very nice. They exceeded my expectations, marked this place on my Google maps will be back evey time I travel on this route.

Food was amazing tasting and a good value for the price. You get free bread, oil, and vinegar. The fried calamari is fresh and delicious. The pizza is good, a lot of toppings, and a thinner crust even on the original. The server (taller Hispanic male) was wonderful. Our busser (shorter Hispanic male) was rude though.

Food was good and service was good. The family loved the complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The peppercorn sauce on the filet mignon was very good. Overall I would definitely return. It is a short drive to the Getty Villa if you are looking for a quick bite before or after heading there, only 5 minutes.

Open and busy! Just went with a friend, who was recently able to return to her home in the Palisades. So happy this neighborhood spot is open and thriving. The food was great, and our server was accommodating with ingredient questions. Will be back for sure!

The Spicy Rock Shrimp was the best dish… the Spaghetti Bolognese was okay, but not wow… for me, lack of flavor. The Tiramisú isn’t homemade and was frozen, talked with the manager, and he was denying that it was frozen until I challenged him to taste it, then he offered me an apology, and maybe the fridge was having some problems that day.

Picked this place pretty much at random after a day out at Santa Monica beach, and really glad I did. We were a party of six – a family visiting LA from the UK – and all agreed the food was fabulous – the best meal we’ve had on our holiday. The waiters were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was good. To top it off, the temperature in the restaurant was comfortable. (In most places we’ve visited for dinner there’s a real risk of hypothermia as the air con is turned up so high!)
Thoroughly recommend this place!

Authentic Italian food. The AHI Tatar was delicious, seafood pasta is strongly recommended.

Best pizza I’ve tried in Los Angeles. Very crispy crust, rare to have it done properly like that here.
