We come to this place when we camp at Leo Carrillo State Beach. The restaurant is on the second floor of a building that overlooks the Zuma Beach. Prices are pretty typical of this type of restaurant.

Very large menu! Thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp ceviche, artichoke, and the fresh catch of the day (sea bass) with tasty glaze and mashed potatoes. There was no line at 530pm on a Monday night, and ample seating inside and outside (ocean view). There are outside heaters upon request.

Food had little flavor. The mashed potatoes were the only delicious thing on the plate. Ordered steak mid-rare. Taste and looked more mid-well. Service was slow. It wasn’t that busy. Ordered an old fashioned. SMH. Just bad. The place is really nice. View of the ocean. The dining area is really nice too. If food and drinks were better, I probably wouldn’t mind the slow service. A nice place to visit, just don’t expect great food or drinks.

This is a nice spot on the second floor of a shopping center with plenty of parking. One thing I gotta say is the the staff is really friendly and professional here. We ate outside and they brought us a heater lamps since it was getting cold out. The complimentary bread was the perfect appetizer before the we ordered our entrees. Excellent cappuccinos! The angus steak with veggies and potato’s were made to perfection! Spent around $80 for 2 entrees and 2 cappuccinos.

Excellent food. I highly recommend the Chinese chicken salad, but nothing here has disappointed. Bonus points for being kid friendly. If you come early for lunch there’s plenty of space for kids to be a little louder without bothering anyone. A staple for our house. Also good for take out.

This spot has fallen apart since I last visited several years ago. Space has seen better days, staff okay – and the food was pretty blasé for the price. Also had a weird smell in the spot – as if it had not been cleaned in a while. Drive on by – lots of other spots….
