Stopped in on a drive back to town at this quaint little bar and grill with a great staff. Cold beer, outdoor seating. Great prices. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Recently I decided to take a well deserved day off this week. I enjoyed a beautiful fall ride on the Single-track at Rampart with my best friend Shane. Satisfied, but extremely parched, we decided to drop by the Sprucewood for a few ice cold beverages and a delicious double cheeseburger. From the moment you enter the rustic cabin saloon, it’s as if you’ve entered into a time machine and have been transformed back into a simpler place and time where the music is familiar, the service and atitude from the staff is efficient and friendly and the patrons are happy to jump into positive conversations about the beautiful ride, weather and basic bike talk. Enjoy a game of pool or sit by the stone fireplace and soak up the atmosphere before stepping back into the world that you just took a much needed break from.

Really cool rustic restaurant. Stopped in for lunch and had an excellent open faced green Chilli burger. Can’t believe there is a restaurant out here in the boonies but it’s a great place to stop for a bite or a cold one while exploring Pike National Forest. Will be coming back and highly recommend

After attending a Celebration Of Life for a dear friend in a nice park (Dott Park) although so very hot there! Low and behold we found a sweet little watering hole! At Sprucewood Inn we enjoyed wonderful service and yummy green chili burgers along with tasty bloody marys and cool beers.

Stopped in here 3 times during our week long visit dirt biking on Rampart Range. Great place to rest, eat and drink in between trails!

I’ve driven past this place several times and finally decided to stop in for a bite to eat. I was not disappointed! The menu is simple, but the food was very good, definitely a proper burger. Great patio to sit outside when the weather is nice and the staff was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back.

After a morning of January fishing on the plattes my son and I drove 9 miles of dirt road on 67. Came across the Sprucewood Inn. We had burgers and beers. Fantastic burgers! Wonderful service and atmosphere. When you are out riding or driving do NOT drive by this place! Stop in and see this place for yourself!
