Spring Tavern is a mixed bag. The happy hour deals on oysters and clams are a great value and definitely the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, beyond that the food is pretty mediocre. We ordered the flounder special of the day for $34, and it was bland and underwhelming — it really needed a better sauce or put flavorful stuffing. It’s also very loud, which makes it tough to have a conversation. On the plus side, the bar setup is solid, with great TVs for watching games, which makes it a decent spot for drinks, light bites and sports rather than dining.

wonderful local tavern with excellent seafood and excellent staff. we had the pot stickers, mussels, and clams from the happy hour menu. we followed that with the crab cake sandwich and the tavern burger. All the food was great!

Love Springs Tavern. Their salmon/spinach/cauliflower puree entree is superb, as is their braised short rib (in a sauce that’s out of this world). Enjoyed eating outside last summer at a picnic table under an umbrella, and more recently inside, where the vibe was more sophisticated but still informal, with cool tones and lighting. The staff is attentive, gracious and professional. Can’t wait to return for a third time!

We are visiting the Hamptons and stumbled upon the Springs Tavern and Grill. The atmosphere was warm and very nice. Every person we interacted with was so nice and pleasant. This is a local hang out however we felt very welcomed as tourists.
The food was 10/10! The short rib was a very generous portion and one of the best I have had. Someone in our party had the bolognese and said it was fantastic! Another had the burger and gave it 10/10 but said the fries were amazing too!
John was our server tonight and he was very friendly, attentive and knowledgable about the menu. Super friendly too!

My boyfriend and I have been here before but this time was exceptional. Best grilled Mahi Mahi tacos I’ve ever had!! This place is normally packed during the summer so it’s so nice to be able to get a table without a crazy wait. Great dinner for a beautiful fall night. Thank you!!

Great local restaurant…always greeted at the door with a friendly hello. Cozy inside and the outside is lovely in the summer months. Food is fresh and delicious and they make a great martini! Was at a rehearsal dinner there this past summer and everything was amazing…food, service, atmosphere top notch!
