I was very skeptical having dinner here our first night because I read the reviews and they were authentic issues that happened to those clients. Based on my experience it would seem that there has been some sort of change in management or operations because we had a wonderful time here. First of all, the manager was able to adjust the seating for our party which was not an easy request. Secondly the waiter was very attentive, polite and knowledgeable. Finally, the food was delicious, my steak was perfect, the octopus was fresh and even the duck was great and that’s a hard one to nail down so two thumbs up .

we stopped in 10 minutes before close as we had just arrived to the hotel. our waiter Troy was great! We had the meatballs for an appetizer and the Gnocchi and Malfadini for an entree! Very happy with our experience here (:

We were here for the weekend for a wedding and we didn’t want to leave the resort so we stopped by here. We were not impressed at all with the food especially for the price. We got the Eggplant Parmesan Fries, the Prosciutto Pizza and the Rigatoni. Everything had to much salt and it was like they were trying to hide the flavor of the food. The waitress was fine and super helpful.

Only reason this wasn’t 1 star was Troy our waiter….he was great and extremely accommodating. The food on the other hand, they should be embarrassed to serve at such a nice resort. Most of the kids got pasta marinara which I’ve tasted cold Spaghetti-Os that were better. The pasta from the adult menu was described as “al-dente”….not even close. You could have used the lobster ravioli outside as a curling stone. I would rather have paid a stranger the $800 to kick me in the groin, it would have been more enjoyable.

We just had a dinner at Spring Bistro of Crystal Springs Resort. I didn’t know this place and didn’t have time to check the reviews, so I did order the dishes you cannot go wrong with, the salad and margaritas pizza (usually I’m more about fine dinning dishes).My friend ordered a pizza and the new york strip steak. The salad’s price was $17 and it was oversalted, had no vegetables in it other than lettuce, baby greens (no tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.), tree croutons, and cheese. It was inedible, like it was not washed while leaving a sandy texture on my teeth. I had to send it back, but they did try to charge us anyway. My friend had a bad experience also with his $48 steak. The steak was ok but when he was enjoying the mash potato, he had some hard, rocky textured object in it. He hurt his tooth and was afraid to finish his dinner.

Not sure why the reviews are so bad for this place. My girlfriends and I went on a Friday night and we had an awesome time. The service was great, food was great! Would definitely recommend. Views were beautiful. They didn’t rush us so we had plenty of time to sit and enjoy our delicious meals.

We had reservations for the Bistro for a party of 12 this past Saturday. It took us almost a month to get the correct time for our reservation and we spoke with the front desk numerous times to complete the reservation, as you are unable to speak directly to anyone from the restaurant.

Wow! We tried having a birthday dinner with friends and we all left sick or disappointed. Crab pasta came out cold and overly fishy. The Risotto was undercooked, cold and for some reason sweet. The pizza was flavorless, doughy and cold ( everything came out cold). This restaurant has to be one of the worst meals I have had. Something as simple as Rigatoni was cold, bland and just awful. When we sat down after reviewing the menu and told the majority of the menu was spicy we were told we could always order room service. Very disappointing.
