I was visiting from out-of-state and decided to look for a local diner with homemade breakfast. I found Springdale diner, and I liked the photos on Google so I decided to stop in there. There was parking right in front of the diner, and as soon as I walked inside, I was greeted with a warm, welcome and smile by all staff and waiters. The food was fresh and hot and tasted amazing. The French toast was homemade and fluffy. The fruit was fresh, the eggs were good and my cranberry juice tasted real. I came in during a shift change and the first waiter. Leslie was amazing and so was the second waiter Donna . I am very happy with my experience, and if I visit again, I will eat there again.

Portions are decent, the food was tasty. Waitstaff was nice. I got the Irish Benedict, creamy hollandaise sauce served on cornhash which was a new try for me. Yummy 4 stars.

Food is okay, it’s a diner so the standard is not very high to begin with. Okder waitress messed up our sons order. It was supposed to be kids pancake and bacon 9$ inclding juice. The receipt billed 10.50 for one pancake and 2 pieces of bacon and the juice was an extra 2$. When i brought this to her attention she blamed us for “ordering extra bacon” which we would never do bc our son doesnt even like bacon. Finally she begrudgingly took the reciept back and proceeded to bad mouth us from across the room as evidenced by nasty looks from her and other staff. We will not be going back, there are too many other mediocre diners in Stamford with more pleasant waitresses. Also, flies everywhere inside.

Walked by at the 23rd of May 25 and needed a restroom. When I asked the answer was “yes sure”. Without expectations I could use their clean and comfortable restroom. Thank you for this service. Next time I’ll come for food. It looked very good. German hiker.

I visited for breakfast for the first time and found the food to be excellent. However, the service provided by one of the waitresses was disappointing. She appeared unfriendly, impatient, and lacked professionalism. It’s unfortunate that such great food was overshadowed by poor customer service.
