Absolutely incredible. Drinks were top notch and the food was too. Found a new favorite Maine breakfast spot. The barista was one of the best we’ve ever seen… somehow managed to hold a conversation full of great insights, all while making some of the best drinks we’ve ever had with, quite frankly, astonishing efficiency and memory for little requests.
Couldn’t recommend more highly!!

By far and away, the BEST espresso drinks I have had in Maine. Fantastic food as well. Small and eclectic. You might have to stand in line, but I promise it’s worth the wait!

If you are ever in the Brunswick area, you have to go to Dog Bar Jim! Especially on a Friday night— Jack and I had the BEST burgers ever, like it was insane. A super special spot with even better decor. The staff was also super kind and inviting. Michael was our server and just the best! Will absolutely be coming back.

Dog Bar Jim: The Coffee Shop
What a gem! The barista was super efficient and genuinely friendly you can tell they care about the craft and the customers. The atmosphere is eclectic in the best way cozy, creative, and full of character. We grabbed a couple of lattes, a cookie, and even a mug to take home as a memory momento. Everything was on point smooth espresso, perfect temperature, and great vibes all around. Definitely worth the stop if you’re anywhere near Brunswick!

If George RR Martin’s creation of Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico was transformed into a coffee shop, it would become Dog Bar Jim. This place is great. It’s quirky, artsy, energetic and has authentic community vibes. It’s rightfully popular with the locals and you can tell the staff has a big care factor. The menu options are awesome and the coffee is top quality. We travel full time and always try to find the best local coffee shops; this was a fun stop on our way through the area. Highly recommend.

Unassuming little coffee bar you could easily miss if you don’t have sharp eyes. Friendly service and clearly a neighborhood fav. Absolutely delicious scone with chamomile and white chocolate and other ingredients I forgot. Chai latte was good. Worth a stop for sure.

Am I in Red Hook? Heaven? Love this place so much. Their savory sandwiches are an excellent addition to the wonderful pastry and bagel offerings. Coffee is spectacular. I appreciate the space they create and share. Looking forward to trying a Golden Demise evening meal.

Went here to get a Breve, heard good things, and it didn’t disappoint, the people behind the counter were super friendly (not normal around here) and asked me how I was (again not used to that) and the coffee was actually really good. I’m used to CBD coffee around here and I don’t like that coffee (I’m picky and like African based coffees) but they said they use King David from NH and it was amazing. Will return.

It’s a small and slightly crowded coffee shop but the place definitely makes up for it! The person working the front was super kind and the breakfast sandwich was to die for. Was just looking for a quick coffee before my train and found a place to remember.
