As always, the food was delicious.
We started by sharing the Creme Brule French Toast. It was fantastic.
3 of us had the Tempura Fried Eggs.
They are a perfectly cooked soft egg, then it is dipped in a Tempura batter and fried. When you cut into them the yolk is still perfect, they are served over a Tomato, Braised Leek Herb Cream Sauce. They are delicious.
The other two ladies had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and the Classic Eggs Benedict which they both enjoyed.
All of us enjoyed the Mimosas.
If you haven’t been here, you have to try it. You won’t be disappointed whether it is Brunch, Lunch or Dinner.
However, since they have a new chef, we have been coming about 1-2 times a week because of the tasty and flavorful food.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED MENU:
1. BRisket Sandwich.
Juicy, tender, pulled brisket with fully flavor to the roof. The meat was marinated well. It came with tasty slaw(perfectly balanced sweet and sour) underneath the savory brisket…. And red wine pickled onion on top.
I came weekly for this Brisket Sandwich. It also comes with crispy homemade chips.
2. Korean BBQ Tacos (New Special Menu).
I hope they will keep this as their fix menu.
It comes with well seasoned tender chunks of grilled beef and tasty red vinegrette thin grated slaws that compliments the beef perfectly.
3. Shrimp tacos (my husband’s favorite).
Fresh crunchy grilled shrimp that grilled to perfection without overdone. Big shrimps with fresh big flavor. Come with slaws underneath it and topped with pickled red vinegrette onion.
Love these foods, combined with the spectacular views and amazing server (Sierra) and manager (Jason) … the reasons we come weekly ….. .
KUDOS TO THE NEW CHEF … It will be our honor to meet you in person….
Sierra thank you so much for your excellent genuine service tonight.
P.S: i left my black wristlet purse last week and they kept it safe for me …. Thank you so much ….
For some reasons i couldn’t find the shrimp tacos and brisket sandwich photos …. Will post it next time we have them.
Tonight bill : $31 for arugula salad, Korean tacos and a single tanqueray tonic.
We went here on Mother’s Day mostly because my daughter was supposed to get a job here, and we wanted to check it out. Starting from the arrival, the guy at the front made us wait “while we make up your table” (we had a reservation). After we got seated, we waited. And waited some more. Finally, I found anyone who worked there (after we got our own drinks at the bar, mind you) and asked if we should just go up for the buffet, do we have a waitress, how in the world does this even work? The lady was nice enough and told us our server’s name. It doesn’t even matter what it was…she was awful. We got our food on our own after getting our drinks on our own, and she came over finally and poured us water. That’s IT. On $100 bill, they charged us a built-in gratuity of $20! For pouring us water?!! The food was so bland, we had to douse it with salt. My husband asked on the phone when he made the reservation if fresh food would be out if we picked a later time slot for buffet, and of course, they said yes. We got the scraps at the bottom of each tray. And the place was EMPTY. So the excuse of having us wait to “make our table up” was complete BS. They had plenty of ready-to-go tables.
Fast forward to my daughter getting offered a position here as a waitress…something they clearly desperately need. The job was offered to her OVER TEXT. Yes, text. She is 18, set up an appt over text with this phantom manager, Richard, to meet for paperwork. My daughter shows up. Richard does not. My husband and I then try to talk her out of this god-awful place, but my daughter gives him a second chance. Only for him to no-show AGAIN. She had ended up giving her 2-week notice to her current job because she verbally accepted over text. For this to happen. What kind of restaurant are you running?! Just atrocious and very clear they need major help.
This place desperately wants that upscale country club vibe but it’s run so poorly. No wonder they need help. In more ways than one.
