WHAT HAS MADE SPRING CREEK A FAVORITE DINING DESTINATION SINCE 1980? First and foremost are our delicious barbeque specialties – ribs, brisket, chicken, sausage, pulled pork, ham and turkey. With pits fired up daily at all of our locations, we get up early to hickory-smoke all of your favorites, and our ribs are then chargrilled for extra flavor. We feature a homemade BBQ sauce, made from our own secret recipe, fries and okra cooked to order, fresh salads with homemade dressings, giant loaded baked potatoes and the best home-baked bread you’ll ever taste. We can proudly say that we are still slow smoking after all these years!

NOV 15, 2025 UPDATE: Information for wheelchair & handicapped parking access.
There are 3 handicapped parking spaces located to the right of the entrance on the South side. See the picture.
Wheelchair accessibility is available to the right of the entrance on the South side. Also, there is a wheelchair ramp for accessing the upper level dining area inside the restaurant. See the pictures.
Please inquire about the availability of the Banquet Room. The capacity is 90 people. It’s great for special events.
My friend & I had another wonderful dining experience. Everything was delicious as always.
Sean was there, and Adam gave me my birthday peach cobbler & ice cream. Thank you very much!
I have eaten at this location numerous times over the past several decades since they first opened in 1980, but this is my first review….
The Manager, Adam, is a consummate professional. He is courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about everything pertaining to Spring Creek. He is an excellent role model for all the team members, and provides great customer service. I dined in recently with a friend. We were greeted by the man cutting the meats, and told him we wanted the Baby Back Ribs, and Brisket dinners. He gave us very generous portions of each. I asked the man serving the homestyle vegetables about the okra basket, never having tried them before. He asked me if I wanted to try them cooked fresh & hot, and offered a complimentary serving. Wow. Thank you! David was at the cash register, and assisted me with my Que Rewards, and buy-one-get-one-free coupon. I am a retired senior citizen living on a fixed income, and the BOGO coupon provides a great value and savings. I have visited with Guillermo many times. He always has a positive attitude, and makes sure everything is ok. I look forward to the hot, fresh baked rolls. They are a Spring Creek specialty, as well as the peach cobbler & cream. Every time I’ve eaten here the food has been tasty, tender, and delicious. Mmmm good! All the team members are very courteous & professional, with each individual providing awesome customer service! A shout out to EVERYONE on the team, including Alex, Violet, Tristan, Tara, Davion, & Sam.! Job well done! Also, please be aware that this company has donated to hundreds of charity organizations, focusing on youth sports groups, schools, teachers, churches, and community outreach and service programs. Thank you for EVERYTHING y’all do! Good people + good food + good service + good atmosphere = 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google Reviews!

We’ve been coming here for years, but sadly, the post-Covid era has changed it a lot. The service just isn’t what it used to be. The brisket is still good, the bread rolls are great, and the other meats remain solid. Sides taste the same, but prices keep climbing while portions shrink. The boiled corn? Still as tasteless as ever. It’s disappointing because this place used to be a favorite. They need a real boost—some kind of stimulus—to bring diners back and recapture the charm they once had.

DOOR DASH ORDER:
There is no way this is the best bbq in anywhere. Its not bad, its also not the best. The sliced brisket is flavorless. The chopped brisket was greasy. The mac was mid and the coleslaw needs sugar, salt and pepper. The rolls were good and the banana pudding looks promising.

Would I order from here again? Not brisket. I remain on my quest for good brisket.

Love the coupons for BOGO Sunday thru Thursday! This location served better food than the last one we visited. Ribs were tender, juicy and full of meat. I’m not excited about their sides but my husband loves getting the baked potato in lieu of the two regular sides that come with the plate. All in all, good BBQ at a great price, at least with the coupon!

My 1st time in Dallas.
I should have gone with a younger crowd, who I’m sure would have taken me to a more specialized BBQ spot, but I got dragged along with an older crowd that brought me to Spring Creek.

Now, I’m not saying that I didn’t enjoy myself, because overall, I thought it did the job of feeding my hunger.

But it wasn’t the level of Texas BBQ I was desiring.

If I were to compare it to Italian cuisine. I would say that Spring Creek is like the Olive Garden of the BBQ World, but with Amazing Bread.

Omg. Their rolls. Hot, delicious, it melts in your mouth.

A young lady walks around with a basket of these heavenly rolls.

The vibe is a very “family friendly” vibe.

The employees are friendly.

The Food is solid. Not good, nowhere near great, but it’s solid.

The portions are definitely on the smaller side, I thought the chicken and brisket were solid, and the ribs were a little better, but the portions were so small, that if it wasn’t for the unlimited heavenly bread, I might have given the review 3 stars instead.

Don’t ever change your bread. That bread puts you over.

The fries were also very good.

I might come back if I were pressed for time, or didn’t want to spend too much on a meal, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a first time visitor to Texas BBQ.

This place frequently sends us coupons for buy one dinner get one free, so we have come a few times due to that. We enjoy the older atmosphere and fresh hot rolls they bring around to the community seating style tables. Overall it is definitely not the best BBQ place, however I do like their potato salad and usually I won’t touch that stuff. Also, the warm rolls really are good!
Friendly service and fun, but without the coupon probably not worth it in comparison to other spots.

Went to visit a buddy in Plano and we ended up having lunch here. The restaurant was reasonably clean and the food was pretty good as well! I tried the brisket and pulled pork which was great! They had a person walking around with fresh biscuits that were fresh and hot and tasted great. The beans were just okay and I wish they had collared greens but they did not. Pretty good overall experience!

Ordered To-Go and was disappointed when I got home. The loaded baked potato was good but the chopped brisket sandwich was so dry. I was craving BBQ and gave this place a try and I don’t think I’ll be back. They were quick to greet me and the atmosphere seemed ok, it’s more dated than I anticipated.

First time coming here in a very long time. Ordered the brisket and chicken, dark meat along with baked beans and cole slaw. I absolutely used to love their brisket here because it didn’t need sauce and was tasty enough, but this time I just kind of liked it. I thought the brisket was not as tasty and had to use their bbq sauce to make it somewhat more palatable. The bbq chicken was good but also needed the sauce. Glad to see they still had the unlimited hot bread and the ice cream bar. Again, haven’t been here in a very long time so my opinion is a little dated. Overall, tasty bbq but nothing to come home for.

My last two trips to Dallas I had ribs (baby back and st.louis) – outstanding.
But this trip was a disappointment, ribs were not good at all. Tender, but really think they were several day old leftovers. I’ll be back, hoping this was an anomaly.
