Spotlight Bakery in Dollywood is so worth a stop if you’re craving something freshly baked while in the park. I started my day with a plain croissant, and honestly? It was perfect. Flaky, buttery, and just what I needed as a little walking-around snack. I wasn’t expecting much, but it really surprised me.
Later, as we were leaving the park, we decided to grab some of their famous cinnamon bread—definitely a Dollywood must-try. We got two kinds: one with icing (classic and delicious!) and another with apple butter. Here’s where it lost a star for me: they charged almost $2 for a tiny 2 oz cup of apple butter… and it wasn’t even filled up all the way. You maybe get 1 oz if you’re lucky. For that price, I expected at least a full serving. It just felt a little stingy, especially when the rest of the experience was so good.
Still, overall the baked goods were amazing and lived up to the hype. I’d definitely go back, but maybe skip the apple butter unless they decide to give you what you actually paid for!

The Spotlight Bakery at Dollywood is one of our favorite places. The atmosphere is really nice, like an old time bakery. The selections are great with everything from a twenty-five pound apple pie to their famous cinnamon bread. The place is busy but the line moves very quickly and the service is friendly.

Delicious bakery treats such as cupcakes, cookies, and lemon tarts. They also have the famous 25 lb apple pie that Dollywood is famous for.
This place is a definite stop when inside the theme park!

Wonderful place to purchase cookies, muffins, cupcakes, Danish, brownies, cinnamon bread, and the biggest Apple pie I have ever seen. If you buy the whole pie, they give you the skillet it was baked in! They have made specialty items for the Flower & Food Festival, going on now through June 7th.

Everything in this bakery is delicious! The Apple pie was so good but insanely big — could probably feed 6 if everyone ate a decent amount

October 2025: That pie? Is now $229 That’s $60 more. Not that anyone would actually buy the whole thing, but that is a dramatic and unwarranted increase.
Also – the line is longer than the shop is big. There could be increases in efficiency here for sure.
June 2018: Unbelievable array of treats – how could you ever choose? There’s a ginormous apple pie (see photo) that you can take home for $189.99 – no kidding! Beautiful cupcakes and other pastries too.

Terrible coffee Starbucks ! The girl she just put regular coffee, cream and cinnamon when we wanted a Pumpkin Spice Latte! The bread doesn’t taste good, in the pictures looks amazing! Sorry we like to try in different places.

So I had a chocolate cupcake here today. It was pretty good…..very rich and enough for 2 to share. It was $5.49 plus tax. I would suggest this only for a true chocolate lover as it is chocolate cake, with chocolate icing, topped with chocolate shavings! The cupcake was soft and fresh.
