This is the quintessential small town bar. Tim the owner is one of the best people I’ve ever encountered. The beer is cold, the atmosphere up-north comfortable, the clientele both local and vacationers, and friendly welcoming smiles everywhere. Can’t wait to get back there this summer.

I love the Sportsman bar. It’s a simple, friendly atmosphere where you can go enjoy a drink with friends and probably make some new ones while you’re there. The owner is a first rate guy too, so it’s nice giving him my business.

Love the Sportsman, but be warned: so do lots of other people. This little place alone probably causes the population of the town to double on the weekends. If you go there enough, you’ll realize that it is a favorite of the locals and not just the tourists.

I don’t even drink Alcohol & in my opinion it’s one of the best bars around because of all the great down to earth & very respectful employees along with the owner , everyone is treated as a good friend to know.
