I think Longplex Kitchen is a real gem. Easy to get to, plenty of parking. Food is better than expected for a pub atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Probably one of the most underrated places if you’re just looking to get a meal with no drama or pretentious air. I’m sure we’ll walk in someday when they’re slammed but my absolute favorite thing is the speed and convenience. Stroll in, seat yourself, drinks within minutes, entree within 20 minutes.

Wow. We came for the RIFood Best Tacos. Really impressive. American style tacos. Great portion sizes (fit for an athlete!) I love the fries. Salad was reasonably priced considering how large it was. Good drinks too.

Good food, better people. We order thru door dash (don’t do it just go in doordash sucks lol) but the staff was very helpful over the phone, tried to help us with the issue with doordas. We got our food and 0 complaints. Be sure to check these guys out.
Shout out to the manager on duty tonight, thank you for being so kind!!!

Closed an hour early and stopped our food order on New Year’s Eve with 2 Hungry Children. General Manager (son of owner) says he doesn’t care because they have leagues there. My daughter and I, her friend and parent went to longplex in Tiverton for New Years Celebration for rollerskating, and restaurant. We arrived after work after 8pm and I had specifically asked they were supposed to be open until 11pm and the restaurant was open. (Also this was 2nd chance so DON’T GO to restaurant because last time getting anything drinks, food took Forever, there were no napkins or anything to eat with I had to get them and ask for ketchup at the bar as it was empty but 1 waitress was running to all the tables spread out. The manager yelled in our faces while we were trying to eat food and ruined the whole experience because he wanted us to pay for a salad that the kitchen manager said could be substituted for non gluten free fries and screamed across the restaurant to stop our check i had asked for several times because we were trying to leave while we were trying to pay the check and had to go to the bar to pay my bill and leave that horrible place where they yell in your face) So this was 2nd chance & despite us telling them a little after 8 at arrival that we wanted to place a food order they insisted to send a waitress down a little after 9, they CANCELED our Food order BEFORE they made it and despite saying they would be open until 11pm several times why we went there instead of other places, they closed an HOUR earlier at 10pm and kicked us out New Years Eve with 2 HUNGRY CHILDREN! This horrible restaurant manager napoleon complex needs to go. I called the GM Justin and he basically said they have so many school hockey leagues there they don’t CARE about customer service and REFUSED to give any refund! Don’t GO HERE! And the Owner should hire a competent Manager who cares about Service. Don’t let them fool you, the General Manager (son of owner) runs both same Ownership. That waitress they sent down and spent time taking our order should get that tip she lost when you canceled our order as well

The Sports Kitchen was impressive. My husband and I went several weeks ago, for our first time. #RI Food Fights best burger competition. We were very pleased with our burgers, salad, fries, drinks, and wait staff. The burgers were cooked perfectly medium and were so juicy and delicious. We can’t wait to go back.

First time we went to the Sports Kitchen, I was very impressed. Tasty food and a great pour on the drinks. Went there recently to see a band play and was very disappointed in the service. The band was great, but no one should wait over 30 minutes for a drink at their table. Waitress was non-existent. I tried going to the bar to order a drink, and the two bartenders completely ignored me. I thought maybe I was invisible, but another guy at the bar had to wave a bartender down, as well (as they pretended to be immersed in stock refilling duties…here’s a tip: if you have customers waiting, bartendering 101…the customers come first!). Not surprising that the bar emptied out very quickly. It was definitely not busy (see photo), so no excuses. After waiting 10 minutes at the bar and being completely ignored, I went to the front desk. Five (5) waitresses standing around and talking. Asked if I could impose on them to get a drink and a menu. We ended up getting our drinks another 30 minutes later. One menu to pass around among us…really? (have to say, though, we had a great time joking about this). When the food finally came, no utensils or napkins (again, had a great time joking about this and wiping our hands and faces on each other’s clothing, but honestly, just not cool). Who the hell is managing this place? Please get your F’n act together because it is a bloody wreck and the fans of the bands deserve better than this!

Normally HUGE fans of sports kitchen and we tell all our friends. Not sure if it’s a staff change or something but the last two times we’ve eaten here it’s definitely been not delicious. Normally SO tasty and so fun and affordable. However, wait staff is always so friendly. Hopefully the food shapes up again

Went to pick up an online order tonight and waited at the hostess stand as the text instructed. Multiple waitstaff walked by as I stood there. No one stopped to ask if I needed help. I stopped one waitress, and she said she would check on it, but never came back. Ten minutes later, Jim, the owner, came and asked if I was all set. I told him no, I have been waiting for a while and still dont have my order, although multiple have walked by. His response was that the staff doesn’t know why I am standing there. To which I responded, maybe they could have asked. He then told me the sign on the hostess stand said, “seat yourself”. I said I’m not sitting, I’m here to pick up food.” He continued
in his condescending tone, telling me there is no hostess, I need to walk up to the waitress station and ask for my food. That they are short staffed, the waitstaff needs to watch their tables or people yell at them and they quit, next time walk up to the waitress station. I said no problem this would be the last time I visit the restaurant. He then walked away without any assistance or my order. Maybe the waitstaff is leaving because they are busy and they have an owner who does nothing to help. If he treats his paying customers this way, I can’t imagine how he treats his staff.
The gentleman behind the glass who was making pizzas was nice enough to stop what he was doing to help. If it weren’t for him, I could still be standing there.
