I’ve seen this place for several years and finally got the chance to try it. Atmosphere is exactly what I’ve come to expect of a BBQ restaurant. Comfortable feel, country, and smells of heaven. We stopped in on a Sunday late lunch and tried the pulled pork, brisket, and a BBQ baked potato. The potato was more of mashed potatoes fixed up with beans, pork, and cheese on top. The small was a large plate, more than she could eat. Good flavor overall, a bit too much nacho cheese. The brisket sandwich was a little dry but had good flavor. Sauces were pretty good, four to choose from, a sweet (baby rays), mild, hot, and mustard base. The pulled pork my son ordered was very dry. Overall just below average on the food but it may have been an off day. I’ll definitely try again.

I loved everything about my experience here at split tree barbecue. Sunday I came in to meet family, and the people working treated us just like we were their family too. Our orders came out hot and delicious. If you haven’t had their white cheddar mac & cheese, you’re missing out.! I could eat my weight just in the macaroni. I would love to go back there when I’m in the area again. We had a party of 15 show up and we didn’t have to wait too long. The restaurant was very clean and tidy and well put together and their atmosphere felt like home.

We stopped by Split Tree Barbecue for lunch and were the only customers there. The food came out fast, but everything tasted prepackaged. The pulled pork was very dry and lacked seasoning. This place could really use a visit from Gordon Ramsay.

Stopped in for the first time today on 11/29/23. The cashier was pleasant but unfortunately the barbecue was very average. Ordered the BBQ nachos and it was served with concession stand quality chips and cheese. Also asked for jalapenos and was given just 3. Not nearly worth the price $13.73 after tax.

UGH !!!
I Miss The Original Split Tree BBQ.
This Place Has Same Name.
But This Place “Does-Not”
Have Good BBQ
Nope.
Not Good At All.
The Last Couple Of Years, Every Trip There, It Has Just Gotten Worse.
But ya what ?
I am old enough to remember, from way back in the day,
this place DID had Good BBQ.
YESTERDAY We spent 78.00 on 3lbs of OF VERY DRIED-UP RIBS.
The Were So Overcooked They Looked Like Dog Treats.
They Should’ve Never Been Sold.
Bland side items and No Effort To Make Their Sides Anything Else But Bland.
Sweaty, Greasy Styrofoam Boxes
All Of It Was Just Unappealing.
I’m Baffled By Some Of The Good Reviews.
So, Yesterday will be marked as my last trip to Spliy Tree BBQ

Worst BBQ ribs I’ve ever had. Service wasn’t bad and the place looked nice, however the ribs were stringy and the membrane wasn’t even removed and the pulled chicken sandwich was off. Wasn’t smoked and had an off-putting smell. Do not recommend

The staff was very nice, prices were decent and I like the cute rustic vibe. My Pigza special was tasty with the sweet sauce I opted for, but my husband did not enjoy the ribs.

My first experience was here was great after passing it on the road a few times I got around to come see what it was all about and loved it, me and my buddy came for lunch and it was really good, nice people, delicious food at a reasonable price and a neat little joint, definitely considering coming back with more friends and family when I get the chance. Also the baloney sandwich I got was incredible! (Like I said before this was my first experience)

I get 2 pulled pork sandwiches every time I’m passing through the area. Love the huge well lit dining hall area with pucnic tables and the decor is cool.

The barbecue used to be really good. It was very greasy. I got it to go ,in the bottom of the to go container was at least a tablespoon of grease. very disappointing. The pork has a good flavor. It’s just very greasy.
