We had an absolutely amazing waitress. Thank God, because the food was horrible. That does not even begin to describe it! All of the meat, but especially the brisket was drier than the Sahara Desert. The barbecue sauce should not even be called that. It was more like a runny caramel colored extra sweet syrup with a hint of cinnamon and an after taste that stays with you. All of the sides were directly from your most generic box mix from the grocery store shelf and none of it was edible. We did pay our entire $65 bill and tip our waitress well because this was not her fault. She told the manager about our issue, and they never even bother to speak to us. Most expensive meal my dogs ever choked down. We did give them extra water with it though.

This place is by far the worst bbq I’ve had in awhile . The meat both pulled pork & chopped brisket were unflattering, no flavor at all ! The pulled pork wasn’t even what is consider pulled.
The cobbler was trash. Gooey & smelt horrible.
The bbq sauce was gross . Very pepper like & had an awful aftertaste.
For 16 $ baked potatoes I’d go elsewhere.
We won’t be back here.

Ashley was an absolute ROCKSTAR server who turned our meal into a five-star adventure! From the moment she greeted us with her infectious energy and killer recommendations, we were hooked—our food arrived piping hot, perfectly flavored, and way better than expected. We wish we could clone her and have her at every table every time; she’s the secret ingredient that makes this spot unforgettable. 5 stars, hands down—come for the grub, stay for the Ashley magic! ️

Our server was very loud and aggressive ( I get its loud but jeez she shouted our order at us twice) Food was pretty good but when some one asks for jalepenos for there potatoe 3 is pieces is not enough. Today was my sons birthday and the lady made a comment that it was not his birthday. Son was born 9/28/2011 just fyi. Put the bill on the table and came buy twice as if we werent going to pay. I really hope you train your waiters that that is not acceptable. FRIED PICKLES ARE THE BEST I HAVE HAD EVER HAD MUST GET!!!

This was our second time visiting this establishment. Parking is challenging at times. We arrived on a Friday around 6pm, every parking space was taken. After driving a fee times around, someone was finally pulling away and I was able to park. We sat in the bar area, plenty of seats avaliable in this section. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our food came out relatively quickly. It looked and tasted great. We’ll be back again for a third time for sure.

So good. So much food. Not disappointed in any way . And big never makes it good. I want good food before I want a ton of food!! And this is both. Loaded with meat on a tater the size of my head. Perfect meal. Get this and you’ll need nothing else. But get a brownie anyway. Brisket was super tender and I don’t say it is unless it’s perfect. Great job on everything. So tired of throwing away my money for bad food. NOT HERE

This was my first time! My friends and I Tried the SPLENDORA CAFE & BBQ. Amazing. The entire waiting staff was friendly. Our server, WILLIAN, began by shaking my hand which was amazing! Manager, PEDRO recommended the best potato ever! Jasmine was such a polite host. AS A DIABETIC, I noticed the food was not overly salty nor crazy sweet. The bbq sauces were not overbearing. The butter is whoops and creamy. LARGE DRINK CUP WHICH IS A MUST! I had the peach cobbler and the crust was crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside while, AGAIN, had the perfect sweetness for a diabetic like me. The potato I had offers choices of all the standard fixes but I loved the brisket. Lean or loose cut, the brisket BEAT other BBQ establishments near by. All in all, VIRGILIO ONLY DOES REVIEWS IF THE ESTABLISHMENTS ARE WORTH A REVIEW. What I dislike may not be same as others, so I make public a place that makes me go WOWWWWW! Lastly, as a 6 foot 2 inch individual bearing 300lbs, I loved the sturdy chairs in this restaurant. Thank you PEDRO, WILLIAN AND JASMINE for providing my colleagues and I an above standard experience at the Splendora. I took me 2 years to finally stop and give it a try! IM GLAD I DID!!!

Kiera was our server today and she was a ball of sunshine on this otherwise rainy day. She was very attentive and just radiated positive energy. Food was great as always, too! Love Splendora cafe! Definitely our favourite little spot.

So I have been here several times and the food is either great or horrible for the same items ordered. The 1st 2 times I ordered the cheeseburger it was great the last 2 I had a hard time even eating it. The fried green tomatoes are always 100 great and the brisket could have had more flavor and be less dry the sausage I wouldn’t ever dare try again. I do love the customer service and the atmosphere. This is the closest main restaurant to my house so I guess ill keep trying new things
