Easily one of the most delicious “street” foods I’ve ever had.
Can’t say it’s necessarily better than a more standard gyro/pita+hummus type of meal, as the Spitz style seems to deep fry all the pita bread, even the one on the gyro. Again, super delicious, but hard to compare to the more traditional variant.
Ordered online about 3 hours ahead and the food was fresh and ready right when I arrived at the scheduled time. No wait.
Location is kind of strange, with shared parking with a bunch of other locations next door. But I guess that’s normal for downtown.
My family ordered the Street Cart Fries with your choice of meat. This is their favorite item as it is loaded with meat, chickpeas and other goodies. They also got the Mediterranean wrap which they split between two people. I ordered the vegan wrap with a side of fries. This was too much for me. I ate half and took the rest home. Reheating the leftovers was not as good fresh. I used a toaster oven. Sadly, it was a lot of food I didn’t have anyone to share with. I also ordered a red wine. They do have beer and different types of wine as drinks. They had cucumber flavored water which was good.
The bathroom was clean. It’s only for paying customers and you need to ask for the code.
There is a free parking lot, but it is limited. There’s a free parking lot not far away.
We will be back and highly recommend checking this place out!
Recommended! I tried it for first time and just loved the twist in food here.
It’s on busy road with limited parking around but worth a try.
Food flavor was amazing and meats were marinated well.
Would highly recommend as a go to lunch stop.
Now, let’s talk food—because Spitz doesn’t just serve a meal; it delivers an experience. From the first bite to the last, everything we ordered was sheer perfection. The Street Cart Fries were an explosion of flavor, piled high with toppings that make you forget you’re supposed to share. The Street Cart Doner hit the perfect balance of savory and satisfying, while the Fried Pita Strips and wings brought a delightful crunch that paired beautifully with their bold seasonings.
Their lemon cucumber water is insanely refreshing, and don’t even get me started on the cannoli-style baklava—crispy, sweet, and completely unforgettable.
Fernanda, who helped us, was super friendly, patient with my indecisiveness, and gave the best recommendations. I’m already planning my next visit. Highly recommend checking it out!
I will definitely be ordering from here again and highly recommend.
