I visited Spiro’s Taverna in St. Lucie West with my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day, and we had such a lovely experience. The customer service was wonderful from start to finish. Our waitress (I didn’t catch her name, but she had red hair) had the sweetest personality and made us feel so welcome. She truly added to the whole vibe of the night.
It was my first time trying Greek food, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it! The falafel was definitely my favorite — perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also had the chicken gyro sandwich. The flavor was good, but the chicken was a little on the dry side for me. I ended up adding a little ranch, which actually elevated the taste and made it more enjoyable.
Overall, we had a great Valentine’s dinner and I would definitely come back to try more dishes!

I have never experienced some a lousy Customer service!
Came with wife and daughter, ordered a bunch of food, Appetizers and Main courses ( Salmon for me)
They bring the appetizers… all good, 5 minutes later they bring the ENTIRE MAIN COURSES!
I tell the waitress to PLEASE TAKE THEM BACK and give us A little more time because I WANT MY FOOD WARM!!
She says: “not a PROBLEM, I’ll bring it later!”
2-3 minutes later she brings the entire food again telling us: “ IM SORRY BUT I HAVE TO LEAVE THE FOOD ON THE TABLE, I can’t keep it in the back”
Moment at which I Replied: “how is Eating cold food , especially FISH makes any sense to you?!?? You know what?! Just put everything TO GO!!”
2 minutes later she comes and tells me that she spoke to the manager (guess she had to have the blessing to do a common sense thing) and tell me that the manager gave the blessing of Taking back the food and keep it warm!
As you can imagine, I was too possed and disgusted but this waitress reactions to keep myself there and eat a plate of fish that kept being walked back and forth multiple times to and from my table!
I NEVER HEARD SUCH a thing ever in my life!
“ oh, we CANT KEEP YOUR FOOD WARM, I HAVE TO LEAVE IT HERE ON THE TABLE!”
Important detail: THE RESTAURANT HAD 3 tables occupied, us included…
I would have understand the circumstances if you were BUSY AND work is over the top…
Anyways, AVOID!!
And a word for the so called manager or owner who reads this : I THREW THE FISH the moment I got home… which was 15 min after I laid the bill and already smelled a little unusual…
And pleas please STOP serving VEGETABLES that ARE ALREARY OLD and expired !

Although the place was clean, and they have a nice patio with live music on some nights, the selection left something to be desired. The falafel appetizer comes with 3 deep fried falafel balls, Greek salad is basic. Souvlaki Dad said was dry, mom asked if the chicken was breast and the waitress co formed with the li e cooks, only to bring out thigh meat. Good news though, they took it off the bill when mom sent it back, and didn’t charge extra for the hair in my husband’s pasta!

First off I ordered different sides. The Gyro I did order fries, the “cheesesteak” was supposed to have lemon potatoes. As you can see in the picture we only got fries.
Secondly where’s the beef? Reviews I read said generous, NOT. That cheesesteak is the weakest one I’ve ever purchased! AND it was sweet!? Only “seasoning” I tasted was sugar!?
Thirdly the Gyro meat had barely any flavor, weakest tasting Gyro meat I’ve ever had. Probably frozen meat.
My rating had nothing to do with service (which was bad as my order was Not correct) or atmosphere as I ordered to go. But nothing stood out while I was waiting for my to go order. Just unhappy having wasted $30, so glad I didn’t give a generous tip like I usually do.
I don’t understand the 4.6 rating that drew me to this place. But opinions are like pieholes, everybody’s got one!

We ordered a chicken gyro and a reg gyro. The meat on the chicken was tough, dry and over cooked had no lettce and one slice of tomato. My son had a reg gyro and the meat was over cooked bearly had meat on it and no lettuce or tom. We took it to go cause my daughter was not feeling well. Wish I ate it there so I could send it back. Terrible. There server was super nice and attentive. The food is a no go. I would post a pic of my sons but he ate it in the car. Mine went to the trash. Money lost.

Stopped here for the first time traveling up at i-95.
Overall experience was good.
Young lady that served us was very kind and polite. Food came out in a timely manner and overall was good. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table.
The salad could have been a little better and we had to request some ice water. The music and deck atmosphere was nice we would return again.

I usually get the lamb and beef gyro ( hopefully it is scratch made and no fillers preservatives?!?)which is ok. Today i got the chicken greek salad . I asked the lady working there are you sure its not dry? She retorts ofcourse not its our best seller! I got it . Extremely unsatisfied with how DRY and BlAND the chicken breast was. Are these meats even fresh???. this is coming from someone who eat mediterranean middle eastern food daily

Loved our experience tonight! We both had delicious gyro platters! They were done right and delicious. The service was excellent. Wait time was minimal. Jasmine was very pleasant and efficient. I like the new location- especially the parking.
