Brought my mom here for lunch. She grew up in Chicago and loved Spinatos back in Illinois. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and the food was delicious. We enjoyed personal pizzas, Chicago and Chicken Pesto. Both were amazing. The personal pizzas are about the size of a dinner plate, cut into 4 pieces. The perfect amount. We still took some home too. I personally loved the crust. There is also a beautiful patio to enjoy your meal on as well.

During a recent visit to the area I dined at this Spinato’s several times. Both times the service I received was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was like any nice pizzeria… a little lively but not so much that I couldn’t enjoy myself. I ordered one of their sandwiches w/ gluten free bread, and a cocktail. The cocktail was very good, and the food was so tasty that I had to come back a second time to make sure, and I was not let down. The gluten free bread they used is some of the best GF bread I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried a lot of them over the last twenty five years. Very good experience all around.

This pizza is unrivaled, the sauce is outrageous, the momma’s pizza is the best thing on the menu and it’s vegetarian.

Gluten free and kids size options available. Ken the owner comes around sometimes as well, super welcoming, family owned.

This is the first time that I got a decent salad to go and not have it be just a little handful of lettuce and not much else. I’ve always been disappointed and I love their salads when I’m there. Their Pizza still didn’t have very much toppings it was mostly just the pizza which bummed me out they do better when you’re there in person which shouldn’t be the case. But I am so grateful for my decent looking salad this time I’m really happy. When you can’t go wrong with spinato’s flavor.

Went here for lunch with a friend because we heard good things about Spinatos as a whole. Pizza being the focus, we order a large Super 6 (basically a supreme) Sicilian style pizza. We got a Thin Crust instead of the Sicilian ordered that came Undercooked with the crust not just soft but wet. As appetizer we got the Artichoke dip served with Toasted Bruchetta which was good, the Artichoke dip however came out bland and flavorless. I had a Cesar Salad which was decent but the Croutons were ridiculously stale, so hard it was unable to be crushed with a pepper grinder. I also ordered a Meatball sub with a side salad to go seeing if anything here was at the hype I had heard. Meatball sub was okay, the salad was not a salad at all though, just mixed greens that’s it. All that said the service was above average, the food well below average. I usually will not reviews for restaurants, this place however was a disappointment that might help someone from having the same experience.

I’m pleased to be one of the first reviewers of Spinato’s off of Via De Ventura. They have a few other locations, however this one is very new. We have tried them twice for lunch, yesterday and today.

The atmosphere is really nice. The restaurant is brand new and they are supposedly building a patio too. The hostesses open the door for you- which is a nice touch. I do feel like the dining area is pretty small- there are only about 10 tables and then there is a bar area with flat screens and seating.

The staff are nice, but they are a new restaurant and still working out some kinks. We have had Milan twice, she is super sweet and they are accommodating to some of our guest’s dairy sensitivity. Most places look at us like we are crazy but it’s no problem here- if you have allergies you know how hard it is to find a good Italian place.

The food has been hit or miss so far. The Chicken Wings are decent, they are nice and crispy but there are only 7 or 8 of them for $16, which seems a little overpriced to me. We have also tried the Antipasto Salad- we weren’t very impressed with that and wouldn’t get it again. Once again the portion size was pretty small and there were very few slices of meat, however the lettuce and meats tasted fresh which is always good. It came with some Garlic Bread- which was good but contains dairy, so only one of us could have it.

As far as Entrees, we have tried a “Personal” Chicago Calzone, and a variety of “Small” Vegan Pizzas. We can have meat it’s just a dairy thing. The Calzone was slightly disappointing, it was burnt on the outside and had hardly any meat on the inside. However, we did like the Vegan Cheese in it, it looked and tasted almost like real cheese. I think we’ll stick to Pizzas- they have all been really good! The Cheese is impressive- it’s one of the best we have ever tried, and we’ve tried some bad kinds. This kind has a good consistency, and isn’t very salty.

I’m pretty impressed so far! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with sensitivities. There aren’t that many places with Vegan options so we will be back!!!!

This location is popular. It was busy from the moment we arrived 6:12 until we left 7:15 pm. There only hard surfaces, so it is very noisy. My husband really liked his Italian Beef sandwich (he’s picky and an Italian beef regular) but he was disappointed with the pasta side, little/no flavor. I ordered a large Hawaiian Hottie pizza, ham, pineapple and jalapeños which came on a thin crust, perfect. It was delicious, although not hot. The service attempt appeared to follow the manual, with the manager pop-bys, but the server we had definitely needs to hone her skills. She was unskilled, so I’ll just suggest some more training, hence the 4 vs 5 stars. Please click if this was helpful.

The best tasting pizza in Phoenix, AZ, hands down. Friendly staff at each location I visit, the pizza is always outstanding. Check happy hour, you can sample the menu for cheaper. The super-six is the bomb!
