Lemme first say that the owner and her husband were some of the nicest people to come across in Bowling Green! Very calm, sweet and pleasant.

Spillway in Bowling Green was a good meal. The place filled up quickly at lunch time for a decently priced meal. Selection of specialty burgers and assortment of baskets and appetizers. My burger was good but I wished the bun would have been toasted and cheese and bit more melty. The strawberry jam actually worked with the egg and burger. Tots were crispy along with fried pickles. Overall it was a good cheap meal.

Nice atmosphere if you want the local bar feel. Nice management and staff. The wings were not crispy enough, but that’s probably more my problem than their’s. Will definitely be back.

you definitely have to ask for Debbie, or John, or Stephanie at this bar because they are rock solid service! Also the special hot sauce that comes in an unlabeled container, as a famous Kentucky recipe is literally the sauce to cry for and die for. But don’t take my word for it, make sure you don’t rub your eyes after eating wings dipped in their delicious hot sauce. If you want something more southern comfort style, try the bourbon or the barbecue glaze cause that’s pretty tasty but ask for light sauce if you don’t like it heavy. Finally if you’re looking for a good cocktail, a sports game, a game of pool, dance to some good music, or just a family, friendly vibe, I will check out this spot because it’s definitely want to try. Also their beer, battered cheese and their crispy pretzel toasted. It’s just the right spot especially for a family or a group gathering. Bring your family, bring your friends, and it will be an awesome experience, especially if you get the thumbs up from auntie Debbie!

Was at Spillway Bar & Grill on New Years Eve. We always go for the live music and entertainment, we had an amazing time. The food is better than any top notch restaurant I’ve ever been to, it’s always great and as always you’re treated as family as soon as you walk through the doors! Always a great experience, and we will definitely be back! I recommend this place to anyone!
