Wednesday dinner (7/13/22) with family of six. Substandard food. Of the six, three had the whiskey burger. Pulled pork was definitely reheated in a microwave…for too long. Burgers were ordered at med-rare, but were dry hockey pucks. Pork – Hard pieces, dry, greasy. Three from our party had belly problems that same night. Would not recommend.

First and last time here. Takeout and the food smelled bad when I put it in the car. “Uncle Cody’s” pizza wasn’t good. Meat was extremely salty. Chicken tenders were soggy and the sauce wasn’t good. Forgot my ranch as well. Only thing I can say, French fries were good. That’s impossible to mess up though

The Grille catered our after golf dinner buffet for (40) guests on the patio. All of the items we pre-selected from their new menu was fresh and really good. The staff at the Spike Bar made this a very enjoyable experience for everyone. Management is well committed to overcoming challenges and satisfying the best interests of their guests during unprecedented times. 5 stars.

My friend and I just sat for 15 minutes on the outside deck after golfing and not one person waited on us. I understand being short staffed but when workers walk past you multiple times and don’t even ask if your taken care of, then it’s not about staffing, it’s about poor service. Business must be great to just let customers sit there and decide to leave. I drove over to the Villa and had my drink and food order within 10 minutes. I guess the new owner is running things the same as the old ones did.

Gave the avocado sweet potato fries a shot. Mistake; they’re covered in garlic. I couldn’t eat the avocado. The sweet potato fries were great though. Had a decent beer selection. I’m an IPA guy and they had several. Got the Sirloin. It was good, with a great dry seasoning on the outside. Should have been medium rare, might have been closer to rare… But apparently that’s how they cook it. Also, came with an odd cream cheese looking topping, which I removed. Wendy is great! Interesting location, not too many people.

If you are ever in the area this is a great place to eat and steps away from the hotel. Wendy and Bernie were the best wait staff. They do offer a standard menu but I suggest going with the daily special. Clean and Delicious.
