Took my 12 yr old here as a treat for her report card and helping out with her younger siblings. She absolutely loved it and said its her favorite restaurant now as she didn’t have one before. Lady at front was very friendly, helpful and attentive and also a guy from the kitchen asked if I needed ice for my water at one point. I highly recommend if you like boba, pho, hibachi or anything on the menu for that matter. Im glad I chose this place for our lunch/dinner date!

Everything was excellent. It was the best Pho I have had since I lived in Chicago 15 years ago. The crab Rangoon were homemade and fantastic. The habachi burrito is amazing. The owners added new decor to the existing wall paintings that enhanced the atmosphere and kept the best parts of the old vibes. We will be going back soon!

Everything was amazing. The couple that owns it work there and they were the best. The food is fresh, meats tender and delicious. Everything well seasoned and tastes so good. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. Pho, grid rice, lo mein, were a couple things we ordered and cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef and the wife whose customer service was impeccable!

I’m absolutely delighted with this new addition to the neighborhood! We’ve been watching the storefront over the last few months with great anticipation and we’re elated to finally see the open sign!
We ordered takeout and everything was excellent. The pho meat was cooked perfectly and the broth was delicious. The noodle bowl was filling and the chicken was well spiced. All the sauces were excellent and the dishes could be tailored to different spice tolerances. The Fall Spring Rolls were hands down my favorite and the Apple Pie Egg Roll tasted like an autumn fair in a delicious package.
Everyone working was pleasant and helpful. The interior is gorgeous and they kept the some of the charm of the old Chowder House.
I can’t wait to go back and try the bubble tea!

I ordered take out online and I’m not the one that picked up the food so I’m not sure of the atmosphere or the service. I can only speak on the food. The miso soup tasted diluted. I’m not sure if I would say bland because it seemed like the flavor was there, just not bold enough. I only tasted the chicken and steak entree, when I try the other I’m update this review. The chicken and steak was ok. Not to be rude, but there was nothing about it that makes me feel excited. The food was served very hot and fresh. Nice portion sizes were given, but it was average for taste. One thing that did bother me while ordering online is that the Hibachi meal states that it comes with fried rice and veggies. Catch is, when ordering online it gives you a choice of white rice, fried rice and noodles. If you choose fried rice, you’re going to get charged for it. Why state on the menu that my meal comes with fried rice and then charge me for it? I’m not feeling that at all! Other than that, everything else seemed ok. I would go back, but I’m not rushing to get back there because there’s nothing better than any of the other Hibachi places I’ve been to.

Quaint little restaurant. Very positive friendly staff. I just had the simple hibachi tofu lunch and in the sauce was delicious. It wasn’t overly sweet and there wasn’t a huge amount of sauce. It was perfect. The apple egg roll was delicious as well as warm and fresh and chewy with cinnamon and icing it was very good. Definitely going back for dinner.

My brother and I tried SC while he was in for the holidays. We split a chicken hibachi dinner and two apps (Falls Rolls & Crab Rangoon, which were possibly the best I’ve ever had). Everything was AMAZING (esp the sauce for the Falls Rolls..omgomg) and we couldn’t even finish our halves. We both had leftovers! He picked it up and said the place had a great vibe and everyone was super friendly and nice (as was the gal on the phone that took my order).

Food is absolutely delicious, sauces are incredible, staff is very friendly and atmosphere is fun! I have so many good things to say about my visit to spicy chopsticks. I ordered the chicken hibachi and got a brown sugar oatmilk tea and both items exceeded my expectations.

Everything we tried was delicious. We had spectacular crunchy spring rolls, pho, hibachi, fried rice, dumplings, shrimp tempura, steak and shrimp noodle bowl and boba tea. The service was excellent, the owner went above and beyond and the place itself it’s fun, creative and cool.
