Spent my Valentines dinner here. First time trying this place. And I have to say…. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The food 10/10. Service 10/10. Drinks 10/10. I mean, honestly, best food and service we have ever received. Eric was such a great server!

We ordered the Margherita pizza (our favorite) Bambina style and (vegan) meatball pasta. Omg, I couldn’t believe the meatballs were vegan. It was hands down the best and probably better than the meat ones itself. We also very much loved the Panne Cotto! The cheese pull on it, mouth watering!

We tried different drinks, but my favorite was their own twist on the espresso martini. The tiramisu whip that was on top, so delicious!

Such a great experience! Would 10000% come back!!

This was my first time at Bambina’s and I loved it! I ordered the Bambina-style pizza and it was made perfectly — great crust texture, cooked just the right amount, and the flavor hit the spot. The interior was also nice, but what really stood out was the service. Dillon was incredibly attentive and welcoming, and his friendliness really added to an already positive dining experience. I can’t wait to eat here again!

Service was excellent, and the food was good too, though I personally prefer their other location, Anonimo. While I regretted giving away my Anonimo leftovers to the homeless guy outside, I wouldn’t have hesitated to part with the leftovers from this visit. Unfortunate they don’t offer the Detroit style at this location sits it’s really good, but that sort of fits with the theme their going for here.

My new favorite pizza spot! Everything about this place screams authentic. We stopped by during the Bambinas x Cervezalandia Cinco De Mayo Beer Tap Takeover and it did not disappoint. Last time we visited we had the meat lovers and today we had the Birria Pizza special, Italian Draft, Italian Cola and finished with the Tiramisu dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch. The service by Carmela made us feel right at home and we even got to meet the owner and learned more about their story and the specialty cooking class experience they sometimes host on Tuesdays. Looking forward to our next visit during Margarita Pizza Mondays as they make the dough outside from scratch inside their portable brick oven. Highly recommend you check it out!

Overall really good experience. I’ve only been there once so far, but I plan to go again.

Their internet was down when I went, so I wasn’t able to place an order ahead of time. But it was well worth the wait. I ordered the old school pizza, and had the Hot honey pancetta fries as an appetizer.

Just good quality pizza. Crust was quality.
The sauce on the pancetta was so good. Dipped my pizza crust in it.

The sauce on the fries did cause them to be a little soggy, but I don’t see how that could be avoided considering I got it to go. So I won’t count that against them lol. I didn’t mind it. If you don’t want your fries soggy, make sure you dine in or order them without the hot honey pancetta.

Servers were very nice. There was one other party finishing up when we arrived but they left and we were literally the only customers in the restaurant for almost an hour and it still took forever to get our entrees. We had the lasagne before because we bought a whole one to go but in the restaurant it was overcooked and even had burned she’s from sitting under a heat lamp or something for two long. The salads were overdressed and hard to eat. Beltran is extra. The mushroom appetizer sauce was delicious. The decor is great. Love the murals but the choice of music made us feel like we were in a bar or grocery store, not a dining establishment. Go benchmark Sampinos. And service was WAY too long. Especially because our table matched the size of the staff and there were no other customers. I think this place suffers with prioritizing take out over seated customers. Not the servers fault. Kitchen and managements fault. Hopefully they improve. We will go back one more time to give them another chance but there are too many other choices. Have not tried the pizza but people seemed to like it.

I noticed some mixed reviews and wanted to share my experience on a busy Friday night. I placed an online to-go order. Food came out on time. I’m not a huge spaghetti and meatball fan, but Bambinas knows what they’re doing we also got the Mediterranean pizza Sicilian style. The crust was really good and reminded me of focaccia. I heard the hot honey was good and got that on the side, but ended up enjoying the chili oil better. I’ll definitely be back and dine-in.

Terrific trivia night. Great food, service . Carmela is the best when it comes to taking care of customers. The Pizza is wonderful as well. We tried the one with jalapeno, sun dried tomato, cherry tomatoes and jalapenos and it packed perfect flavor and heat. Hope to be here as many Tuesdays as possible.

Sunday brunch options. We ordered pizza il calzone. I expected a calzone but it was a whole delicious flat pizza. Sausage, mozzarella, ricotta, calbrese chili’s, over easy egg and French fries all drizzled with hot honey. It was great.
