TIME FOR A REAL REVIEW! A coworker told me about this spot because I was looking for a quality Jamaican restaurant in Delaware. I went the first day and since they ran out of food I was left with curry goat and jerk chicken. Both were very good. I went back and tried the curry chicken, oxtails, and stew chicken and I must say that this place can get my business. The portions were good and the only thing I will say negative is that due to the fact that this store is only open 3 days out the week…I feel they should have enough food to last until they close. If you want the total selection I advise you to get there before 1pm.

Looking for a decent Caribbean meal, a friend recommended Spice N Nice. Hungry, and willing to explore, I visited Spice N Nice on a Thursday at approximately 2pm. The parking-various businesses competing for a limited amount of parking, in this small strip mall of stores. The restaurant-a small interior, was modest and busy. There was seating, and the ambiance (noise) was loud to me. Various customers ahead of me in line, I over heard them complaining that Spice N Nice often run out of certain dishes during the day. So, I ordered curry chicken, rice & pea with cabbage; and two beef Pattie’s. I waited about 15 minutes for my order. The food, priced at the industry standard, portions were good, and the food was tasty and appealing to the eye w/plenty of gravy. I would return and order a different dish, to compare my experiences. I was not blown away, with my first impression experience. I would recommend the restaurant to friends and family as one of several Caribbean restaurants in the area.

First time trying this establishment and I must say the food was really good. I got an oxtail platter, jerk chicken platter and brown stewed chicken platter. Nice portions, great service. It exceeded my expectations. Will definitely come back again.

Workers and Service here sucks . I stopped ordering here because the workers act and look like they don’t want work there . You will be waiting forever before anyone even acknowledges you for assistance.

The food was great. I got a large jerk chicken with rice and peas. It tasted amazing and the portions are great it was spicy but not overly spicy. I wanted some oxtail but when I got there at 5 ish they had run out of everything, there was only jerk and curry chicken available and based on other reviews it usually happens. The place is clean but the people at the counter could use a bit more courtesy and manners. I will go back for more food

A little disappointed. The jerk pasta and oxtail lacked natural herbs and spices. Oxtail has no flavor, it tastes like meat and nothing else, aslo the fatty layer was not properly removed (had to chew through fat to get to the meat- hardly no meat). The Jerk pasta noodles were overly cooked and taste like watery noodles with jerk seasoning sprinkled on top.
The amount of money spent doesnt match the quality of food.
Not authentic!

Tried their curry oxtail and it was terrible .. no meat on the bones and let’s just say curry don’t belong on oxtail. It was a complete waste of $17. The plantains were good that’s it.

Great hidden gem spot. Ox tail is but pricey at over $20 for a takeout box.
Rice and beans is well seasoned and flavorful with the meals.

Love coming here. Food is always delicious. I got the curry chicken large $17.25. Price went up. Plus a beef patty and coco bread. My son loves it. The container is normally packed but I’m still happy.
