After spending time on Siesta Key beach, we went to Spice Indian Cuisine for dinner. When we arrived, it wasn’t very crowded, and we were seated promptly by our server, Akash, who brought us the menus.
We ordered Lemon Pepper Salmon Tikka and Chilli Chicken from the menu. Our dinner came out in about 20 minutes.
The Chilli Chicken was a bit of a letdown. The chicken was cooked in tomato sauce, and it wasn’t very tasty. Not really worth it. However, the Lemon Pepper Salmon Tikka was still good, and our toddler liked it.
Based on the food that we had, this isn’t an authentic Indian restaurant.

The best Indian Resturant in Sarasota. The staff is very friendly. Service is very prompt and most importantly the food is delicious. We always get the Gobi Manchuria appetizer which is delicious and perfectly prepared. Even though it’s fried, it’s not greasy and just lightly browned and hot. The Tikka Masala is to die for. The tomao based creamy sauce is flavorful and the pieces of Chicken are more than ample. The wine is reasonably priced unlike some places that charge a price equal to a whole bottle.

Dining out as a vegan can be difficult. Our waiter, Akash, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and knew exactly what was and wasn’t vegan. He was extremely attentive and helpful. Thank you so much, Akash! His service elevated our experience and I am very grateful.

If you like Indian, then you will LOVE Spice Indian Cuisine! While visiting the area, we decided to search for our favorite type of food. We made a great discovery! The restaurant is very clean and the service was excellent! They have a very reasonably priced lunch menu. We definitely recommend Spice and will be back!

This was my first time here. Is a very nice ambiance for being in a strip mall. Decorated very minimally. The aroma was wonderful as soon as we walked in. The server came to greet us shortly after we were seated to get drink orders and answer questions. The menu was extensive, and all dishes were very well explained. We were going to order an appetizer, but our server let us know that one was included with the lunch special, so we each opted for that. Our food came out very quickly. Beautifully colorful and hot. My shrimp dish was wonderful, and the naan was perfect. As well as an appetizer, desert was included. They refilled our drinks without asking. We were able to use a QR code to pay our tab and leave a tip. All in all, a lovely lunch experience!

We had a wonderful dining experience at this Indian restaurant. The food was authentic, flavorful, and prepared with great care. Each dish was well-seasoned, with rich spices that were balanced rather than overpowering. The naan was fresh and soft, and the curries were aromatic and comforting. Aakash was courteous, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the visit. Service was really fast.The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. My wife and I used to dine at Curry Station. That was the Indian restaurant there before Spice. Curry Station was…pretty good,

So what changed? The decor remained pretty much the same. The service at both were excellent. Their menus are similar. The big change is in the preparation of the food!!! All the many varied dishes we have tried at Spice are consistently delicious!! I mean OMG so delectable!
There is one dish here they we had never heard of anywhere before-the eggplant chaat. Our server said it is not offered in many Indian restaurants in the USA, as it very time consuming to prepare. It is arguably the most scrumptious appetizer we have had the pleasure to eat!
If you enjoy Indian food, Spice will be your new favorite restaurant! ENJOY

Came for a date night. We love our local spit in Venice but it was with driving a little further for this location. Atmosphere is great! Tables are not crowded too close together. Restaurant was fairly busy, but we never felt rushed. Loved my glass of Shiraz. Food was delicious. Service was the best part of all! So attentive, so kind, very gracious. Must try the cardamom date cake, you won’t be disappointed.
