Was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in the middle of Interlaken. The atmosphere, aesthetics, decoration is a masterpiece. I felt so proud to be represented at world stage with this restaurant as it shows the classy vibe and atmosphere Indian restaurants have.

The staff is kind, and the ambiance is very good compared to other Indian restaurants for fine dining. However, the taste of the food is average. You won’t get tap water to drink; you have to purchase bottled water. The rotis are very fresh, but the taste of the vegetarian and non-vegetarian main dishes is not very good.

Our group of 7 were visiting Interlaken and we decided to go for an Indian meal.
We found Spice India and were very impressed. The service was fantastic, we had the restaurant to ourselves as it was a quite period. The food was very flavorsome and tasty, just like home. We had a number of dishes, all had their own unique flavors not like some restaurants where the curry base is the same.
I would visit again and we had a great time.

Authentic Taste of India!!
The food taste is exactly same as we eat in India. I have tried all the restaurants in Interlaken but this restaurant is hands down the best I have ever eaten. I love their Kadhai Paneer!! Must try when you visit Interlaken.

Good Indian food in the downtown area near Interlaken West station. Service was quick and portion size was average. It seems it was a michellin star few years ago. Some of the dishes can be considered for the star, others needed improvement like wings. They can do better in atmosphere.

FLIES IN THE FOOD – grilled and cooked
If I could give negative star I would. We discreetly told the person that there was a fly in our kebab and wanted to leave as we have little kids. I barely ate a spoon but he wanted us to pay and was threatening us to call the police which would have been ideal. Someone needs to inspect that kitchen for sure. He even insulted and disrespected Indians who to him apparently eat flies in India!!

We tried shrimp biryani , cary fish ,
Green salad and nan bread ..
The service was little slow but maybe because they prepared it fresh .. it comes very yummy and we enjoyed the experience..
