Good food, nice people, and low prices (about half compared to a typical chain restaurant). Definitely not a fancy ambiance. But has a nostalgic charm that is very hard to find.
Tip: behind the counter, to the left of the cash register, on the wall is a poster for a ‘Dance Party’ on February 2, 1959 – the list of bands that played is fantastic!
In July 2024 and July 2025, the lovely poster is still there!

Me and my boyfriend went here recently as a sorta get out of the house breakfast.. The food was delicious we both had pancakes and bacon, the people that worked there were very sweet and kind. I loved the atmosphere too! It’s nice, small, cozy and everyone seemed to know everyone there. I’m gonna tell my friends about this place, This is definitely going to be my favorite spot for “get out of the house” breakfast days!! ✨

I first got here and ordered the drinks and was not very pleased with the size of the grapefruit cup for a large. Needless to say I thought from the beginning that I’m not going to like it here. Never judge a book by it’s cover. Besides the drink I have nothing but praises for my breakfast. Very nice size omelette and rye toast was really pretty good. Not much contact from the waitresses but I won’t complain. They weren’t nasty. The price? Amazed. Without tip it came out to $20.84. I’ll be back definitely.

This is definitely a definition of a dive diner. This place probably hasn’t been upgraded since the ’40s. It is quaint, service was excellent and the food was also. Just a little seedy looking as far as the interior goes. But then again, I’m not eating the interior.

Step back in time and have a meal here. I had a great time talking with patrons and my waitress. Very cute town with a marina on the Erie canal and junction of the Hudson River and Champlain canal.
2025 best cup of drip coffee I’ve ever had. Surprised me as a cappuccino drinker

My favorite mom and pop type of diner. I love to have breakfast here. The food tastes great and prices are even better. I love the environment, it’s a super family friendly place and very cozy. Friendly staff and attentive service. Can’t recommend this little restaurant enough. ^_^

Amazing service, great food, great prices. Place is a bit run down but thats okay! It makes it a bit worn in and rustic looking. Gives it character! I wouldn’t want them to change a thing!

Went for the first time today with my cousins, and it was amazing and super cheap! Staff there were so nice and patient. The only downside was the seats they were a bit uncomfortable but otherwise everything else was good!
