This is hands down the best curry house in Taunton. It may not have a particularly stylish exterior but the food is excellent and very good value.

Stopped in here on a business trip on a Sunday evening. I was the only diner as they were mainly busy with takeaways. However, they put on the background music for me and staff were attentive and friendly. The garlic naan was absolutely amazing – one of the best I’ve had, so feel compelled to write a review. Ordered a takeaway via their website. First issue, they levy a service charge, not a good first impression. Ordered master chicken and an aubergine bahji. Rice included. On arrival told they had no aubergine so had provided a sag aloo and offered me a fizzy cola as compensation, not a good second impression. No reduction in price offered, no refund offered. They did offer to cook something else, but it would have been another 10+ minutes. They had my ‘phone number, could have called to check. On a more positive note, the food was good, enjoyed the chicken and the sag. A little more customer focus can make this a good Indian restaurant.
