We had ribs and chopped brisket with potato salad and baked beans. Their food is always delicious. We also love the apple fritters that they bring out while waiting on the meals.

VERY good BBQ. HUGE portions! A little pricey. I got a 2 Meat Plate with Turkey and Brisket. Great portions on the meat and sides. They also brought out several baskets of fritters to our group that really complemented the meal and were delicious… but will probably kill you because it is hard to stop eating them. I couldn’t finish my food, which is VERY rare (look at how much fried okra they gave me!). Sauces were good. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it took quite a while to order and get our food AND it is one of the pricier BBQ joints around (I paid $23 for my meal). They should make the platters smaller and not charge so much imho.

Very good bbq! A great place to take care of your bbq cravings! Our favorite is is the meaty tender ribs and the perfectly fried okra! And leave a little wiggle room for those fresh hot melt in your mouth fritters! Dine in or carry out, Spencer’s won’t disappoint. Also they are open on Mondays with meals and ribs at a nicely discounted price.

Spencer’s BBQ is a short drive from Tinker AFB. If you have an hour to eat and drive its worth placing on a quarterly rotation. Prices seem a tad high, but I always think BBQ is priced high. It’s best to stick to the lunch special and get the large. The free fritters are nice. The service is more personal as you might expect from a family owned establishment.

Having the same name and a decade of barbecue experience i wanted to check out this home joint as i was cruising by from out of town. I had a simple chopped beef sandwich with fries. Fries were hot as all get out and perfect. I was slightly disappointed it was served more like a sloppy joe than a dry sandwich and allowing me to add my own sauce. Regardless, i was happy with the sandwich and out of kindness i was allowed to sample the fantastic apple fritters pictured here. The service and home atmosphere was fantastic.
