Seizing Cafe has been around for a long time, so it’s hard to write anything bad about this restaurant but I will say it does need a remodeling or a face-lift. Staff was literally but then again it was wednesday night. My wife and I actually enjoyed our food. I had eggplant with ricardo cheese and noodles and asked for meatballs. Very good and hot. My wife had the tagliatelle with wild boar ragu. Their special. Delicious. No complaints from us. We did see where someone did gave them a bad review. Crap happens to everyone. It was a good night for us.

Our friends’ friend recommended this Italian restaurant to us, and this one turned out to be much better than the other one in Falls Church. We had a reservation for table for 6, but they had tables for smaller parties that didn’t need reservations. We ordered mostly dishes from their dinner special and every dish tasted fresh and delicious. I had my favorite veal chops – it was cooked perfectly medium. I love the vegetables on the side – seasoned so perfectly and not salty at all. Fresh ingredients always win! My husband loved his tortellini, and our friends loved the Alfredo sauce. We had so many baskets of breads – the herbs on the bread with olive oil and vinegar brought the whole meal to another level. We had the tiramisu cake and chocolate mousse cake, which concluded the perfect night. The service was great – they arranged a round table for us, and they were very attentive.

This place had great reviews, so we stopped while passing through on a Sunday.
It did not disappoint. The food was very good. We had a salad w/grilled chicken, side of pasta(sauce was fantastic). Chicken parm, also very good with pasta. Came with the usual bread and oil/balsamic.
There were so many things on the menu that looked good, and we go plain…long travel day, I guess.
Anyway… great food, but it is a little on the pricier side. I guess it’s the nice area.
When I pass through again, I’ll be stopping.
Oh, the parking is in the little garage next to it on a side street. Very convenient.

Can’t there be some sort of repercussion to call yourself an Italian restaurant and serve food like this? Cacio e’ Pepe: try buttered noodles with sprinkled cheese sprinkled with fine processed pepper. Essentially what you’d get on the kids menu at Fridays. Gorgonzola ravioli: white processed sauce with “maybe” a hint of Gorgonzola. Has better in the microwave from Trader Joe’s. The antipasto: rolled up eggplant with far too much vinaigrette, hard, beyond aged parmigiana cheese, a heaping blob of canned roasted red peppers and thick tasteless prosciutto covered again, in too much vinaigrette. Fortunately the olives were good though. All four of them. I asked for pelligrino and the waiter, wearing a FILA sweatshirt, seemed confused. So there it is, tap water wins the night at Sfitzi for its consistency and quality. Honestly, doesn’t it make you mad or frustrated or whatever the word is when you pay decent money for something and it seems they don’t even try. I see they have a 4.2 rating. I don’t know, maybe people really enjoyed the tap water and olives.
0.5 out of 10.

This Falls Church restaurant has been here for a long time and we have dined there many times. The food, wine selections and service are excellent but it needs a remodel using a decorator to create some ambiance. Even the location is fine if only it had some personality and ambiance associated with the dining experience.

I stopped by Sfizi Cafe and had such a pleasant experience. The place feels cozy and inviting, and the food tastes fresh and homemade. My sandwich was full of flavor, and the pastries were light and delicious. The staff was friendly and made everything feel easy and welcoming. It’s a sweet little spot that’s perfect for a relaxed meal or a quick treat. I’d happily come back.

Great food and service!
My husband took me here on a date, knowing I prefer to dine somewhere without being rushed, with good quality food, and attentive service. This place met all my requirements. We sat down early, around 6 PM, when there were few other guest, but soon the restaurant filled up. The wine list was a little limited unlike the menu … oh so many things to choose between! I rarely choose both appetizer and desert, but the portions are perfect here. The cappuccino was perfection too.
Waafa, he manager, spent time making sure everything was to our liking and we ended up having a wonderful conversation with her.
We are definitely eating here again when we are in the area.

I had a fantastic experience at Sfizi, the Italian restaurant. The delightful blend of delicious food and inviting atmosphere truly captivated me. The staff’s warm and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive impression. An added convenience is their complimentary parking service. I must mention my appreciation for their impressive variety of wine options as well. Without a doubt, I’m eagerly looking forward to revisiting Sfizi in the near future.

Great gluten free dairy free experience this time. I had a specially prepared salmon with pesto sauce (no cheese) and gf spaghetti prepared in freshly boiled water with more pesto sauce. Yum!

5’s across the board! Really tasty, Italian experience, with a sizable menu and good value for what you get. The ambience and atmosphere is great, as it definitely makes you think you’ve left Falls Church for a moment and entered a sort of villa. The service was fantastic and I will absolutely recommend this place to many!
