Stopped here on our way from hiking at Cesars Head park going to Greenville. When searching for tacos this little gem popped up. The tacos were very tasty and actually authentic Mex flavor. The salsas were also very flavorful! It is a very small pace but the food is definitely worth a visit!

The arroz con leche and breakfast was absolutely awesome. I’ve tried both tamales rojo and verde and they are chefs kiss. Way better than monte Alban down the street. If you want AUTHENTIC HOME MADE style Spanish food, this is the spot.

This place is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious. We got birria quesadillas, steak tacos and nachos. Everything was so so good and authentic flavored. 10/10 and will definitely be making it a regular spot for us.

I grew up in Mexico, and everywhere I travel I’m searching for the taste of home. Sadly, most Mexican restaurants in the US, even those with Mexican cooks, cater to an American palate. They invent foods unknown south of the border and utilize ingredients that are not part of the our cuisine. Not these folks. Their food catapults me to my childhood. What a gem of a place! The owners/cooks are from Central Mexico, and their menu reflects that. Come and be ready to finally learn what authentic Mexican food really tastes like. ¡Viva México!

UNBELIEVABLE. The empanadas are next level. My husband is vegetarian and she always makes something for him based on daily veg assortment. This is the closest to authentic Mexican cuisine you’ll find.
