My daughter and I visited this store on 23 Jul 2025 in an attempt to get some poke and whatever else we might find. We ended up getting Ahi Limu Poke, Garlic Tako Poke, Furikake Salmon Poke, Spicy Salmon with Mayo, Kimchi Cucumbers, Butter Mochi, S&S Instant Saimin Cup, Frozen Char Siu Manapua, a couple of Hawaiian Sun Juices, and Hong Qi Peach Ice Cream (I didn’t know but apparently this is really popular – my daughter wanted it). All the poke tasted fresh and contained outstanding flavors – my favorite will always be the Ahi Limu Poke because it just feels like home to me and I can picture myself in the ocean while eating this. I’m not big into Salmon Poke but my daughter loves it; however, I will admit that the Furikake Salmon Poke was phenomenal – then again, Furikake seems to bring out the best in all entrées.
The price/value is adequate with respect to quality and quantity of goods. The employees working at the time of our visit were also very friendly, which is always appreciated! I especially respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces (including its Veterans), and First Responders – thank you for that! Overall, I loved my experience here, as depicted in my 5-star rating. I’ll continue to support this business and I unequivocally recommend this place to everyone!
I decided to try this location since it was close to where we were staying. The space is clean and welcoming, and the staff are just as friendly. This time, I even ordered a couple pounds to take home. Funny story: when I went through airport security, one TSA agent told me she’d have to confiscate it. I almost broke down on the spot! Then she laughed and admitted she was just joking. She said she was trying to score a free lunch for herself and her coworkers haha!
Great food, great people, and always worth the visit.
The food: amazing! The service: incredible! The vibes: unbeatable!
My personal favorites are the Salmon Furikake and Island Ahi. The Island Ahi is caught in Hawaii, so its flavor and texture are different and very delicious.
Whenever friends visit from Cali, I always take them here, and everyone ends up buying some to take home. Even my friends from Hawaii said it tastes better than what they get in Hawaii!
The staff are also extremely friendly.
I wish I had a better photo haha
And the price? Honestly not bad at all. For example, I paid $25 for two people, which is pretty solid considering how much you get and how good it tastes. Definitely my go-to spot when I’m craving poke. I go here AT least twice a month as a local
Entering Poke Express, they are so welcome to new customers. They let you sample all items like an ice cream shop. They are super attentive to your reactions to the items too, and will recommend you different items based on that. There’s absolutely no ounce of rush or annoyance with their customers either.
Poke Express really loves and listens to their customers. Everything is individually packaged (because they listened to their customers when they said the hot rice cooked the poke.)
Now getting onto the food— you can expect only the highest quality fish here + some unique items I’ve never seen (ie. kimchi mussels). Melt in your mouth fish. Extremely flavorful, but not overpowering. All their crab salad also uses real crab! Would highly recommend the wasabi tuna.
Best of all— all the dishes were very affordable. For two people, only $27 and it was a little too much food for us.
I can’t recommend Poke Express enough. Please show them some love!!
