It’s a great little semi-family restaurant type atmosphere. With great food and good service. And what really surprised me was we’re most places have gone to side salads that are lettuce and cheese this one was actually well filled with many salad items. Burgers and Fries were so excellent. Oh and if you love fried pickles, you can’t pass up on their fried pickle spears!

To me this is a true American diner from the decor to the food. My husband, his uncle and I came here for lunch and my husband and I were both surprisingly pleased with our food. Because of that, we went back the next day and brought my husband’s 93 year old grandma with us for lunch. She had a plain old burger (just the way she likes it), and I had the chicken fried steak with eggs and
my husband had the favorite breakfast with green chili and convenes beef hash. I rate the food 5 stars because they are cooked well, presented well, and the serving is generous. I rate the service 4 starts because it takes a while to be served (seated and asked for drinks), but maybe because the place is always packed. But the servers were sweet and friendly. I rate the atmosphere 5 stars because the vibe is just relaxing and conducive to eating meals. There is a buzz because of people talking but it’s not loud and noisy. The place is also clean. The tables are clean and even the matted floor is always kept clean. It’s just a real nice food place to eat at. Note: always read the posted hours because there are days that the place closes early. There is a lot of good things going on for this cafe and one is it’s location, as it is located at a gas station too with ample parking.

I ordered a Hashbrown Scramble, which was cold and slimy. I got dried-out bread and very little butter. Not once did anyone come back to check to ensure everything was okay. You’re more worried about just collecting your money.
What is going on with restaurants and fast food places? No cares if your food is ok or not. As long as you pay for it and line their pockets, everything is great.
