I’ve been here a few times, but I’ve only had food there a couple times. This is a tiny, local, old school feeling place. Idk what they’re locally known for but their omelets are pretty good with tons of cheese and ham, and they have the BEST chocolate shake I have ever had! Not overly sweet, and a perfect combination of real chocolate flavor and perfectly creamy! Many flavors of ice cream, several tables for dining in including outdoor seating.

This place is amazing. The restaurant is a hole in the wall for sure. Hands down one of the best burgers in the county. I have cooked for 20 years professionally. They get it right Everytime without fail. The prices are more than affordable and the staff are phenomenal. If you want a unique date night with that tuck away vibe or a great place to take the kiddos this is the restaurant for you. I cannot express enough how great this place is!! Love the new owners ❤️

Look I understand prices going up, but not if at the same time the portions go down. That’s rediculous. The tenderloin biscuit has literally half the tenderloin on it that it used to have. It is like they cut the portion in half to make two.

Moved away from Valdese 3 years ago and got to stop back in at Speedeay Grill on Dec 9th at 5:30 and Im glad to see its just as good as always. Waitress was Super Frielndy Polite and Respectful and the hot dogs and fries were Perfect ! Makes me miss living here cant wait to visit again soon.

Small but the food and ice cream is on point. Hot fudge brownie with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Would’ve rather have had hot fudge, but good none the less. If you ever around there stop in and give em a try. Oh yeah, breakfast is pretty good too!

Good Location but Kinda small. Overpriced food.. Owner must have been a somewhat grouchy person. They had a lot of hand written notes and signs in there such as bathroom is for paying customers only.. Do Not change the channel on the TV etc. They did give my wife and son a free refill to go.

This place always takes so long to make your food. Gave them one last try today. Thirty minutes later, still no food. Manager got a huge attitude with me about wanting a refund but I don’t have thirty minutes to wait on an egg salad. She said she was backed up but I literally watched her talk on the phone for twenty five minutes while not simultaneously cooking. Ridiculous and unprofessional. Just yikes. Will never be back.
