Just went in for a beer and cocktails with spouse and my parents. Really nice time. Great customer service and friendly conversation. Only three draft beer options but plenty of other bottled options. Decent selection of Whisky. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely visit again. UPDATE: Met friends for drinks and dinner. Outstanding meals. Steaks are charbroiled, buttery, and tender. Nice dinner salads and dinner rolls. Check out the pictures. Great service. Will definitely be back.

The Sparta Steakhouse is a great family owned restaurant with a diverse menu. I chose the 8oz bacon wrapped fillet mignon with sautéed mushrooms and an add on of 5 scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection. The owners were very helpful and friendly. If you are in the area, the Sparta Steakhouse is a must! Thank you for a fantastic dining experience.

I have never been disappointed in a meal here. The steaks are great and they have always taken care with my allergies. We took our parents here tonight and they were equally impressed. Social distancing and protocols were followed.

Not a good experience. Spent $100+ for 2 adults and 1 child and left hungry and disappointed. The steak was so fatty that the fat outweighed the meat. The mushrooms were dehydrated and the attempt at trying to rehydrate them with butter was useless. We called them mushroom chips. The mashed potatoes were actually a scooped out baked potato. No, these are not the same thing. The cuts of meat were cheap as in low quality, but not price. If they’re not getting local beef, they’re missing the wagon, and if this is what they’re getting, it’s time to see a man with a horse and buggy. I never got a refill of water, and our drinks stayed empty for far too long. The rolls were delicious. Honestly the best part of the meal.

The food is really good! I ordered the filet mignon medium rare with mac & cheese, and the ad on of coconut shrimp. The mac & cheese was good but it was just box mac & cheese, though to be fair I thought they said it was a side option and I think they were just trying to please me since I wanted it LOL. But the steak and the coconut shrimp more than made me happy and the Mac & cheese was fine. Overall ambience could be different, but it was a good restaurant!

Again, the food was great and I thought the pricing was reasonable, so overall I’m happy with the restaurant. And apologies on the Mac & cheese, didn’t mean to offend at all, but I guess what I’d say there is that I thought it was box stuff…Maybe try to differentiate that to have a more homecooked appearance or twist? And for the ambience, it wasn’t bad. But other than the great woodwork, nothing really popped out to us. Take my thoughts or leave it, but we did like your steakhouse! And the service was great.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. I ordered filet mignon well done. My steak was burnt. The chef cooked another steak for me and it was medium. The vegtable beef soup tasted horrible. This establishment doesn’t accept American express cards. The decor was missed matched items and didn’t make sense on how they fit together. Cell died before steak arrived.

It been a long time since I’ve had such a negative experience at a restaurant. We were seated and then waited at least 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken, and at least another 20 for our food order. By the time our food came we had been waiting for over an hour and we were not given silverware with our food. Our waitress was very sweet and apologetic, she told us that her parents owned the place and that they seem to think they only need one server for the whole restaurant. (They are wrong.) The place was busy but definitely not full. We were never asked for drink refills and I wasn’t given the extra things I requested for my meal. The food was actually pretty good, it was the experience that was horrible. I’ve never posted a negative google review before but I feel like this place truly earned it.

We had a wonderful experience at the Sparta Steakhouse this weekend. We had a group of 19 guests and couldn’t have been more pleased. The owners were very accommodating. Emily was an amazing, attentive waitress. Our food was excellent. Highly recommend.

We went shortly after opening, so it was very busy. Very friendly. I loved the old Country music that was playing. Appetizers were good, shouldn’t have ordered, because dinner, 2 steak orders and 1 chicken Alfredo, came with a salad (nice portion), a roll (was delicious), big baked potato, and my New York strip was a good size. Only bad thing was the Chicken Alfredo was very bland. Chicken didn’t have any flavor.
