It all started with a simple question – “Where can we get a good burger?” We are a full service, family friendly restaurant located in a re-purposed 1920’s Dairy bottling plant in the historic harbor district of Conneaut, Ohio. We serve fresh from scratch sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, and unique daily specials. We also have a full service bar with an impressive selection of craft beers, spirits, and wines. We regularly feature hand-crafted cocktails with seasonal ingredients, fresh juices, and premium spirits. In addition to our chic and cozy dining room, we now feature a four-season heated patio where you can savor the lake breeze in the summer or watch a killer snow storm in the winter while enjoying your meal.

Great outdoor atmosphere. The food was decent. Wings needed just a smidge more sauce. Salad was good-tasty ranch. Drink was tasty. Here’s the low down… I try to never ding the wait staff. But our waitress was sick. She sniffled the entire time every time she was at the table. Constant sniffling. C-o-n-s-t-a-n-t ! It was gross. I tried to not imagine her handling my food. But then my senses were attuned and i could hear it everywhere. She needed to go home and let that $&!@ work itself out. Also-outside chairs with arms are super uncomfortable. Try to nab the ones without arms

The food here is very good and the beer selection is solid. We were seated right away, but after ordering outlr food, it took a very long time to come out. We waited almost an hour for the food to come out. This was very difficult with young children who ran out of sit and wait patience. If they solved the waitime issue, we would go back to this place.

I had a great time earlier this evening at sparkys! The service was very friendly efficient and unrushed! And the food is phenomenal! Scratch made everything! The burgers were really good and I have never had tater tots this good in my life! Thank you again for an overall wonderful experience!

Sparky’s is a wonderful place for burgers and seafood. We went with the kids, which was ok but not ideal. The Jumbo Pub Pretzel is huge and tastes great – highly recommended. We also enjoyed the Ultimate Fish Sandwich which is super crispy and delicious. The Poutine was nice to have, but different from what I expected. Definitely a different take on Poutine. The Fried Shrimp Basket and Shrimp and Rice Bowl are good too and use the same kinds of fried shrimp. Overall, we can highly recommend Sparky’s for their food and had an enjoyable time there.

Great place to eat and drink! It’s CLEAN, quaint, with a ton of personality! Good for adults and families! Food and alcohol are fair prices, good presentation, great food, huge alcohol selection. Water is walking distance. Open year round!

We love Sparky’s! We discovered it recently and have been back twice. Their fries are the best around. Plenty of atmosphere, TVs to watch and the choice of eating inside or under an umbrella on their extensive patio. Sometimes the wait is long but other than that service is good. We will be back often!

The atmosphere and service were great. However, our meals were underwhelming. The wings were our favorite of the things we ordered, but could have used more sauce. The pizza tasted a step up from my school lunch pizza on Friday. The burger was tasty, but my bun was a bit hard and chewy. Also the curly fries tasted over fried and had started to wrinkle, with minimal potato substance. The beer menu was fantastic and the cocktails looked great! We would definitely return for drinks, but our meals left a lot to be desired.

The staff were great and the food was very good when it showed up 40 minutes after we ordered. We had a live band playing (Ding Dong Daddy I believe) which was pretty cool. I’ll add I may have had the world’s longest curly fry! All in all a comfortable place to enjoy a casual meal and relax with friends.
