I felt an unexpected super chill vibe as I walked into a very sophisticated establishment. The wet woody is boozy, peachy, frosty and delicious. The ahi poke tacos are equally awesome especially on a hot summer day. So flavorful, fresh and chilled. There’s so many woody combos but so far my favorite is the “sailor Jerry’s wet dream” My bartender/waitress Rachel was super amazing, informative and ever so helpful. Alex was awesome also.

What a great place in Sparks! The service is very good and it’s a great atmosphere as well. The Chilean Sea Bass I had was maybe the best ever. Great balance of the dish and the fish was cooked perfectly with a great median of texture and flake.

We knew we wanted seafood when we left the house, but didn’t know we’d end up here. We had such a great time! The live music was really good, the food was fantastic. Definitely can’t wait to come during summer and sit on the water bar!

I want to start off this post by saying I have NEVER written a review of a restaurant before. My wife and I do not require much from places, so it took a lot for me to write this.

Great place for elevated, delicious cuisine. Their drinks are superb, and their Woody’s are a must try. The menu is short, but everything on it is amazing, and totally worth trying. Not to mention the beautiful view of the marina! This is a great place for a night out!

Outstanding experience. 10 inches of snow this week so we are having hot toddies and a couple of aps. Amanda did a great job of serving us…. I accidentally and rudely sat down at a table that wasn’t cleared completely and Amanda totally took care of the table and us. I really appreciated her service. I’ll be back to check out happy hour and topless Tuesdays!

As the stars indicate, the service was outstanding. Lovely people to deal with. The bar/restaurant is beautiful over looking the Sparks Marina. You can choose indoor or outdoor seating with wind breakers outside. The food I might have rated 4 stars if it were not for the price. What your paying for is the service and atmosphere, because at $25 for a “prime rib” French Dip which was actually sliced deli roast beef and was no better or worse than you would get a local casino coffee shop, (the same for the other three lunch items at our table), you’d better be getting good service and atmosphere. For 2 small appetizers, 3 sandwiches, 1 burger, and 4 iced teas, $177.00. Honestly, I received a $100 gift certificate for this restaurant that I had never heard of or the other restaurants associated with it in the Reno/Tahoe/Truckee area. But this one is in Sparks which I don’t frequent a lot for dining. Had it been a more gourmet type lunch as far as the quality and preparation of the food and worth the price, I might consider going back for dinner or Sunday afternoon brunch like today, but I can get the same atmosphere and service in other places that charge the same prices with excellent food.
