Spaghetti Western is a small, family-owned pasta restaurant built on simple food, quality ingredients, and genuine hospitality. The menu features house-made pasta and select varieties imported from Italy. Fabrizio, born and raised in Northern Italy leads the kitchen. The all-Italian wine list highlights boutique wineries, while beer and cider feature local Midwestern craft. Named for iconic Italian “spaghetti western” films, the restaurant is owned by Fabrizio and Brighid, a husband and wife team, who met managing a restaurant and have spent their adult lives in hospitality. Hands-on and warm, it’s about great food and welcoming flavors.

My boyfriend and I drove here from gfk to run some errands and was craving Italian food (something authentic and not like olive garden which is all that gfk has ) and we were so impressed!!! We don’t eat out much in North Dakota because it’s hard to find decent restaurants, but the food at Spaghetti Western was delicious!!!

One thing is that the service was a little slow even tho there weren’t much people today. From the time we got our appetizers to our mains was 30 mins. Luckily we didn’t have much to do today so it was okay.

The tomato bruschetta was sooo delicious and fresh. I ordered the a seafood pasta from the specials menu and my boyfriend had the meat sauce pasta. They were both delicious especially the homemade pasta. I will say the meat sauce was OK, it was a bit watery and not as meaty and tomatoey as we liked. The tiramisu was also very yummy and moist. I’m so happy we found this place, we will definitely be coming back here 🙂

This is THE restaurant to visit in Fargo. Truly a gem. The food is great. The service is top notch. The vibes are cozy and unique. We ate our food too fast to get pictures, but the dessert was as delicious as it looks. Definitely worth a visit if you are a local or just visiting town. Pro tip though – you will probably want to get a reservation. It gets busy.

The Spaghetti Western hit my taste buds like a full-on MASSIVE ATTACK—flavor bombs everywhere! The table next to us ordered a gorgeous cannoli, so of course we had to snag a tiramisu to go…and WOW. Absolute BOMB . And the prices? Shockingly affordable. 10/10 would ride back into this town again.

This place blew away all my expectations. The service and quality of food was outstanding. Meals stayed true to their Italian origins, which I very much appreciated because why mess with such iconic dishes?! Never would I have imagined such a terrific Italian restaurant in the heart of Fargo.

First time patron. Made a reservation as I have heard it fills up quickly. Greeted by friendly staff and seated promptly. Server was informative and accommodating. Dining options were varied and bountiful. Enjoyed the pleasure of being in a spaghetti restaurant and none of us at the table utilized a red sauce in any of our choices. We found that the choices we made were well prepared and delicious. Salt and pepper shakers are not on any tables as you don’t really need them. You can get them if you want but why? Dishes are flavourful as served from the kitchen.

There were highlights of this solo dining downtown and also some low points. I like the location on the corner right on Broadway. It’s a small restaurant with lots of historical characteristics. The service was a bit disorganized. I ordered a fantastic glass of red wine and there is an extensive wine selection. I had a Caprese salad. The tomatoes tasted wonderful garden fresh. . The mozzarella was just okay and too much basil and oil and no salad fork, only one fork entire meal. I didn’t like taste of bread in the basket. I had a non pasta dish. There was entirely too much grease .,..a pool on my plate like eating at a greasy spoon. I liked the vibe of this restaurant and the fresh ingredients. Could use more of a hostess station, more utensils and less spices and oils.

I’d first like to warn people against the shrimp and asparagus risotto. The photo speaks for itself but this dish should be removed from the menu entirely. It is far too cheesy. I should’ve gotten the handmade pasta which was fantastic! The meatballs as a starter were also amazing. The tiramisu was a heafty portion, although lacking moisture for my particular liking. Overall great service, atmosphere and experience. But the owners need to get rid of that risotto!

Very good from start to finish. Busy night so there was a short wait. Staff was great getting us seated as soon as possible and provided excellent service.
Meal started with bread and olive muffuletta and a caprese salad. Both very good… light and fresh starters.
We chose two dishes, the rigatoni carbonara and Grandmas rigatoni and meat sauce. Again, both pasta dishes were great. Loved that the pasta was cooked correctly.
Had both deserts, because… why not!
Tiramisu and cannoli. Both very good. Tiramisu was nice and light. The cannoli was sweet and rich.
Great first impression, cannot wait to go back and try something new.

Second visit was just as good. Gnocchi, carbonara, bruschetta all very good.

Third visit… Neapolitan Gnocchi, grandmas meat sauce, bruschetta, meat balls. All were delicious.
Bread and muffuletta is so good!!!

Atmosphere takes a hit because it is a small area and when it is busy, it is loud/noisy.

Amazing food. The risotto and the tiramisu is to die for.

You’ll actually have a good culinary experience. From hospitality to the taste of food, it’s something which will make you return to grab more bites.

One important part, won’t get bored even after tasting it multiple times.
