S&P Oyster Restaurant and Bar has been proudly serving guests from around the world for over 25 years. We’re open year-round, 7 days a week, with lunch and dinner starting at 11:30 am. Sure to please any palate, Chef Cobena and his team create culinary delights with fresh, local seafood, premium oysters, produce and beef. Our team has relationships with local vendors, farmers and fishermen to ensure high quality farm to table, sea to table quality. We also offer gluten-free menu & vegan menus. Priority Seating is similar to a reservation, S&P adds your name to our priority list for the time the would like to visit. Guests on the list are seated as close to that time, before any walk-in guests.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of downtown Mystic next to the drawbridge. ** Put in a reservation at least 2 weeks prior to your visit to guarantee seating ** Atmosphere was very nice even with a full house of patrons inside. The waiters we had worked as a team (TJ and Jeremy) and were wonderfully efficient and friendly. The gluten free options were very good and the waiters had great recommendations. We skipped an appetizer and ordered the homemade squid ink pasta and the gluten free colossal shrimp scampi risotto special which came with scallops. Both were absolutely delicious. Dessert was equally tasty as were the cocktails, strawberry basil lemonade and the perfect storm. We will definitely return in the future to dine here again.

Rated one of the best restaurants in Mystic, this place was on our list to visit. Location is in the heart of town right on the water and next to the drawbridge. Beautiful outdoor seating, great scenery. This place is super busy, and we had to wait 25 min despite the reservation we had. The place is also not dog friendly in case that is important for you to know. Service was good and prompt despite the place buzzing. Local oysters were super fresh, clam chowder to die for, gluten free steak tacos, and the jumbo fried shrimp very delicious. Coleslaw had a smokey spice which was unnecessary, and the beer wasn’t really chilled well either. But these are just minor negative observations for an otherwise very pleasant experience.

I came here for the first time with my husband, and the experience was amazing! Great service and excellent cocktails. The Octopus a la Plancha was absolutely to die for. If I had known it would be that good, I would have skipped the entrée and ordered more of them. Oysters were also very fresh.

Me and 2 others came here, It is so good! We got to be upstairs and by a window, the view is gorgeous. We are local so we come by regularly but it was still so beautiful to see while we ate!I got the street corn which was amazing!! I highly recommend it aswell as the salmon.I also got cheesecake which I sadly couldn’t finish because I was so stuffed! I highly recommend S&P to tourists and locals alike, it is great.

My partner and I had the pleasure of dining at S&P for our anniversary. We were served by Jeremy and Julia and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The service was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t decided between two entrees so Jeremy offered to combine the two and make a special dish. He was very familiar with the menu and his recommendations were phenomenal.

This was our 2nd visit. The first time was for raw oysters and drinks at the bar which was perfect. Second time we went for dinner. I had halibut over a risotto and vegetable. The fish was perfectly seared and cooked. My husband had a special swordfish with a spicy mango salsa and coconut rice . Both of us had 2 cocktails. The price was reasonable for a venue overlooking the water @ $224.00 including a generous tip! We will return!

Had dinner for our anniversary this past past weekend. Seated out on patio. Food was great. View couldn’t have been better. Anywhere inside and out has great views. Haven’t visited in awhile. Definitely be back soon.
