Thought going in to get a hot sub would be a toasted roll lady with pigtails was not very pleasant bad attitude there will never ever go back again. They need better customer service skills and need to be trained to apply to the public with that type of attitude to customer is very poor.

Delicious subs! A great place to order ahead or walk in. Portions are huge. Excellent prices too. The employees were helpful and very kind. I can’t wait to go back and try more.

This sub shop has great subs, great service and great potential. Had they the means to toast their subs like the meatball and steak and cheese, they could take it to the next level.
As it stands, the people working here are courteous, helpful and dedicated, the food is good, the prices very reasonable, and the service is very good. I’ve become a patron. I wish they had an oven to bake or toast their hot subs to perfection.

This is a dependable sub shop!! Consistently made subs. Love their rolls and generous with topings! Quick service. Great for dinner option after a busy day, or take up to Harris Hill or Sullivan’s monument as a picnic while enjoying our valley’s vistas.

Seriously the worst cheesesteak sub I’ve ever had in my life. They gave it to me it was cold, the cheese wasn’t even melted. Cold mushrooms and cold raw onions. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Waste of money.

As a submarine sandwich connoisseur. I try as many different locations as I can in search of a great submarine sandwich. While not the greatest, South Side Sub shop is acceptable. The best sub on their menu is the jumbo sub. It has cooked ham, chopped ham and salami on it. I get it with mayo, lettuce,tomato, onions , banana peppers and Italian dressing.One major thing I don’t like is they use chopped onions. A submarine sandwich to me should have thinly sliced onions. Not chopped onions. The rolls are always fresh . I’ve had four of the jumbo subs in the last four months. The first one was very good. The second and third ones were ok. The fourth one was disappointing. The first one was made by a very nice lady. The second and third ones were made by a different lady. The fourth one was made by a young man. The construction of subs by different employees should be consistent. All employees should make them the same way. Instead of different amounts of meat and quality of construction. Southside sub shop subs are ok. With a little attention to detail and consistent quantities of meats. They would be very good

Take out only. Cold Subs are great. Everything was very fresh. Very good rolls. Asked for oil & vinegar instead of mayo. They put both which made it soggy but it was still good.
