The food was amazing drive 30 minutes away and I will be returning. The food was hot and prepared to order. The atmosphere was amazing the service overall was a 100000/10. The Philly cheesesteak, wings and Philly cheesesteak quesadilla was bomb.

Came for the cheesesteaks and left with a new favorite wing spot! The wings were perfectly cooked, and the flavor options were both fun and delicious. The music was loud but had great taste, and the service was top-notch—warm, kind, and helpful. We stumbled in looking for a place to eat near the Music Hall at Fair Park, but we’ll definitely be coming back just for the food!

Southside Steaks and Cakes is one of the BEST restaurants in Dallas! I went with a friend, and I feel like we ordered a nice variety of menu items. I knew it was going to be good when I felt how crispy the wings were even though they were covered in sauce. I was not a fan of the french fry seasoning, but I won’t hold that against them because they were 10/10 when covered with cheese steak toppings. The standout items for me were the wings and steakchos. I will DEFINITELY be back!

An added bonus is the food service here is UberDooberly Deliciously Good & Addictive!!! Not to mention the Cakes, Kool-Aid, Pre Rolls & Joints. Do yourself a favor want some good wings, drinks & Hood Tex Mex with a Twist Southside is your spot, so slide by & give them a try, I promise u won’t be disappointed!!!

Don’t let the outside fool you—this place is it! Yes, the exterior’s a little sketchy, but once you step inside, it’s a whole different story. The Philly cheesesteak, funnel cake, wings—everything was on point. Seasoned right, cooked to perfection, and packed with flavor. The vibes were unmatched and the customer service? Immaculate. The counters and door handles were so sticky, dirty and gross. The place is small but I loved the clever and creative names of menu items. Good playlist while you wait. A very pleasant and kind lady checked me out and she was kind enough to make suggestions and answer questions about menu. Food was made to order so everything was fresh and hot.

I saw this place on tiktok and it did NOT disappoint, I grabbed me the 8 piece wing combo with a Southside Cheesesteak and some cheese fries
Honestly the lemon pepper wings and cheesesteak smacked, but I didn’t really mess with the kitchen sink flavor.
Koolaid was also stupid good and the fries were very crispy and flavorful!
Shout out to them for the Fried Red Velvet sample, the sugar on top and the sweet red velvet cake was amazing
I live 40 minutes away but I will definitely be stopping by more often!

My son had wanted to come here since he saw a TikTok review on this place a while back, so when we came to Dallas for his spring break, we had to try it! We showed up around 6:30 on 3/18 and were warmly welcomed when we walked through the door. We were given a menu to review, and we were told to sit wherever we wanted. There was music, TVs, and games on every table. Such a fun vibe. We decided to order the Big Tex and the Realist cheesesteaks, as well as the 6 piece wing combo with lemon pepper and haute girlz wings. You order at one counter, and then when your order is ready, you pick it up at the other counter. It took about 30 minutes to get our food, but we had fun while we waited. The cheesesteaks were delicious and the wings were on point. We enjoyed our food and had a good time!

I Love this place! If you want a good clean vibe, good customer service and good food this is it. The employees are Always freely and Love how the owner mingle with customers. He works with his crew and treat them with human Respect. Now I will say they fry their wings a little too hard for me personally, but I know now to ask for a lil less cooking time on mines. Kool-aid is On Point. I drive from Duncaville just to get this Outstanding service. Keep doing what you are doing Southside(Scooter), you definitely have my vote …
