Southpaw was delicious! Having just moved to the area, it’s great to find a dependable pizza place and I’m excited to try their other options. The ricotta on this was an excellent touch and big fan of thin crust. My only recommendation was to cook for a bit longer to crispy up the crust but I did get it close to end of the night for them. In any event, will def be back and try this and other varieties

Amazing spot – great people and even better service. They are genuinely wonderful and their pizza is delicious. As an East Coaster, I value a good slice and prefer a NY style pizza – I am incredibly impressed by the crust/slice every time I get a pie!

Got takeout from here last night and it was good! The crust was pretty thin, which i like. Sausage was crumbled style. Could use a little more cheese. Side salad was big and tasty and the chocolate chip cookie was warm and gooey and melty! Overall a solid neighborhood spot.

Southside Pizzeria is one of our main go-to spots for pizza and calzones and feels like a bit of a hidden gem. Prices are reasonable, topping options are solid, and they have a good variety of specialty pizzas. Great beer options. Consistently good and easy to recommend.

What an absolute great find! On the “Southside”… of Denver. They have a bourbon selection. That is impressive nearly 140 selections, Great wine, options, and a good selection of beer. By far the best thing on any menu here is the salads and pizza. Their dough is light and phenomenal. I almost ate an entire medium by myself, but I left a few slices for lunchtime tomorrow. Nicholas was an absolute great person to speak with to learn about the restaurant, history and his passion. I’ll be back.

Smaller local pizzeria with absolutely delicious pizza, great fast and friendly service at a really reasonable price. They serve full bar drinks as well. Would highly recommend if your in the area for sit down or take out. Can’t go wrong!

Staff have always been welcoming. Pizza and salad have been great. They have a surprisingly extensive bar, limited tap beer but extensive bourbon. Extremely convenient location if you need to charge an EV.

Bravo! Excellent pies, wait staff is spot on, and a drink menu to put all the competitors to shame. Comprehensive pizza menu w salads & sides (and customizable!) in a cozy 10 table place. Family friendly with a couple TVs. 6-8 tap beers + a GIANT wall of whisky. Don’t be afraid to order to-go…this place can cater to large crowds. Absolutely a great local go-to with out-of-town guests. A+.

Not only was the cashier and back of house rude, but their poor customer service was translated into their food as well. Lazily put together and overcooked. Toppings in calzones weren’t dispersed.. had bites of pure cream cheese, bites of a stack of 10 pepperonis…. Overall very disappointed and will not return.

Update: we’ve been back a couple of times and the food was not very good, was overpriced and not worth coming back for. Sadly it appears COVID and price hikes have killed this spot too. I purchased my own pizza oven and just do my own pizzas now. Sad, because this place used to be very good.
Absolutely delicious! I had a Calzone for takeout and was very impressed. Not only was it not overly greasy, but was at perfect temperature by the time I got home (about 15 minutes away) and was very tasty. It really seems like they use quality ingredients. While I can’t wait to sit down at this restaurant, take out was easy over the phone and pickup process was smooth. I will absolutely be returning and would recommend this place. I have no plans on trying the other nearby pizza places as none of them could possibly compare, and I prefer giving my business to local companies versus the big chains. I have to be pretty picky when selecting a pizza place as many of the chain/retail stores make me sick as my system cannot tolerate overly greasy or low quality ingredients. I also really liked how many options for pizza they have and how most of their pizza options remind me of something I’d see overseas (healthier options versus Americanized options).
Nothing but positive things to say, can’t wait to see you guys again soon!
