The food is delicious this year! One of our two favorite places to eat in town. We just moved back from AL and every visit we would take some back when opened for the season. The new loaded nachos are my favorite! The Staff has been super friendly this year even with the cold temps still they are awesome!

I’be been coming here my whole life since I was a little girl. Even when I moved to Florida this was still the same B&K I always come to
visit. The spanish dogs are the best and I’ll always get them they haven’t changed in all the years I’ve been coming. They are only open during spring and summer so you got to stop in while they are open. Hands down they are still rocking five stars for me after all these years.

The Mexi Burgers are very good .The root beer is cold and very good .I have been going to BK since I was a teenager .The food has kept it’s amazing quality .More has been added to the menu , but I stick to my Mexi cheese and onion .My husband gets the Spanish cheese and onion dogs .Home town charm for sure.

Peru has *THE BEST* BK!
This summer, we ate at the Wabash and Logansport BK’s and let me tell you
–their Spanish cheese dogs were puny on the toppings and the cheese was the fake stuff
I have included pics I took, to show the difference.
Peru’s BK FILLS their dogs with toppings and uses REAL CHEESE
Also, Peru’s BK uses FOIL which keeps food hot The other BK’S use paper.
Peru’s BK steams their buns, the other BK’s had unsteamed buns, which makes a huge difference.
Peru’s Southside BK has excellent service and food quality. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We drive down from northern Indiana for this and East End. Waited 25 minutes on 3 Spanish cheese dogs, 1 root beer, and 1 root beer float. Once we got it, our order was wrong. They added and charged us for onion. She asked us if we wanted her to get our money back for the up charge instead of just doing it. Our total wait was 35 minutes and when we asked why it took so much longer for ours than other people’s, she simply responded that she doesn’t know she doesn’t work in the kitchen. We won’t be back this year.
