Very yummy! We are so happy we found this Thai restaurant in Southport. Delicious food and friendly staff. We had the tom kah soup, chicken pad thai, Thai fried rice and drunken noodles…all were delicious and I would recommend you try! Perfect sized portions, we left full!

You have to know that if you’re in a Thai restaurant and no one knows what a fresh basil role is, you might not be in the best place to get Thai food. This was my experience. I have been going to Thai Pepper in Southport for years and love that place! Not that it’s the best Thai I’ve ever had, but it’s fast, cheap and I love the folks that are running it. They are the real salt of the earth kind of folks, but I’m here to review Siam Thai Bistro. First of all there was no lunch special, like Thai Pepper has, they offer, soup, roll, and a dish for under 10 bucks! Here just my shrimp Pad Thai was more. I don’t mind paying more if it’s good, but it was not! Basically it was noodles and some shrimp and maybe a half of a scallion onion. That was about it. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while, but would always forget, now that I’ve tried it, I will try and forget this place. The only thing I can figure on all the great reviews I read on this place is they must have never really had real Thai food. I usually end with a song, but this place does not deserve a song. I will go back to my friends at Thai Pepper!

Vegan menu options available – they were very considerate of my diet and went out of their way to accommodate.

Good experience – Jan 2021, both customer service and food quality (fried tofu and vegan spring [fried] egg rolls ).

Recommend to give it a try.

Authentic Thai food. Chef/owner trained in Thailand. Curries, my favorite, and other entrees are served in spice levels to suit your taste. My wife’s favorite is Pad Thai. Many good choices available for our vegetarian family member. Service is prompt and friendly, though takeout only at this time. Prices reasonable.

Visiting from out of town and wanted Thai food. Southport Siam is in a nice standalone building off the main street. I found the atmosphere very inviting and the waitstaff pleasant. Really enjoyed my Pad Thai with Tofu and my dinner companion raved about her Drunken Noodles. I tend to eat everything on my plate (clean plate club) as I don’t like waste, and appreciated the portion sizes were not oversized.

Amazing food! Best shrimp spring rolls I have ever had. Quality Jasmine Rice. We had the Drunken Noodles, Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Soup with Veg and Rice Noodles, Pan Dumplings and Talapia Bites. The Sweet Thai Chili Sauce is the best! Bought a couple bottles to take home. Highly recommend!

Been to Southport Siam 4 times. Excellent food. Had the Pad Thai – Medium Spicy, which is outstanding! Great taste. Doesn’t seem too spicy at first, but the heat builds as you eat it! Service is fine. It can be a little loud, but we’ll come back often! Call for reservations!

Best Thai food in Southport. The Thai Fried Rice and Drunken Noodles are outstanding. Larb wings are tasty and come with a delicious dipping sauce. This place is legit. Owner / head Chef Joe is classically trained and the real deal. Great food, great family.

Nice little place that just opened up a few days ago. Even though it’s a small restaurant, we had a group of 8 on a Friday night and were seated immediately. The staff was pleasant and prompt and our appetizers and entrees came out quickly. I enjoyed the drunken noodles, which they prepared vegan for me. They didn’t have a desert menu yet, but said they’d be adding one soon.
