This place has a great atmosphere and vibe. I enjoyed my Chopped steak covered with grilled onions and jalapeños, With a side of mashed potatoes. Roasted creamy cheese stuffed jalapeños for an appetizer. Our waitress Dani was very sweet and attentive. My 1st visit was great. Im looking forward to visiting again and trying other items on the menu.

Food was absolutely spot on! Everything came out hot — except the salad, of course, which was cold and crisp just the way a salad should be. My steak was cooked perfectly to order — medium rare, just how I like it. Our server was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and on top of everything from start to finish.
The atmosphere had an old rustic mercantile-warehouse feel with just the right touch of elegance — very nice and comfortable. Excellent food, great service, and an all-around awesome dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

1/30/26 arrived at 7 pm, was told 35 min wait for a table for 6. It was 55 min. As we decided on or meal choices the restaurant 1/2 emptied with only one table of 7 that sat before us and ordered before us. We ordered then waited 53 minutes for our food with a 1/2 empty restaurant. My steak bites were only warm. The baked potato should have been steaming hot, only warm. Sent my food back. The replacement SAME! Told the waitress no apology. And only 5 steak bites on the plate. My wife’s chicken parmesan absolutely nothing special the chicken was good but the sauce was a flavorless tomato sauce. One other person at the table stated she had only a warm steak but chose not to send it back. Was looking forward to a much more enjoyable meal.

My sister and me had a girls day out and stopped in for lunch. She had the pork chop plate with a loaded sweet potato and I had the steak with a loaded baked potato. The food was cooked as ordered and was seasoned very well – no need for sauces! Both plates were delicious. We both had salads before our entrees were delivered. Photos are attached. After lunch we both ordered desserts – my sister ordered milky caramel chocolate galaxy and I ordered the chocolate decadence! I forgot to take their pics but both were delicious and enough for two. I will definitely go back if anywhere near again.

We walked in and the place was so loud it sounded like bees buzzing! It was busy and everyone is sweated in a central location.
We were seated at our table within 20 minutes.
We started off with potato skins. They were battered wedges that were fried and served with cheese on top. Definitely deep fried paradise!
I chose the Ribeye Blackened with Roasted Broccoli and my wife chose the grilled Grouper with Roasted Broccoli.
Salads were fresh. She had the Caesar
Steak was overcooked and just kinda so-so.
Grouper was tough and flavorless.

My boyfriend and I went last night for our anniversary dinner. First time trying this restaurant. The food was amazing cooked to perfection! Our server was just ok. We were seated at 8pm. They close at 9pm. We were almost done with our meal when I asked our server if we could order a slice of cheesecake at 8:45. Her response was “no, the kitchen is closed already for the night.” This is not acceptable for many reasons! 1- customers shouldn’t be told no. That’s a bad experience in general. 2- it’s not like we asked for another meal, just a slice of cheesecake to finish our anniversary meal. 3- the servers should be trained on something that easy if the kitchen was trying to close. Everything about this place was awesome except the staff doing all their closing procedures to get out of there as soon as they could by 9. I have many years of restaurant experience and the kitchens never quit until actual closing time. Many times I spent an hour after closing time to shut the kitchen down. Not sure if we will return here. If we do, it’ll be to go so I’m not told NO again by young staff.

CHICKEN & WAFFLES for the win!
This is our second time here- the first time, all the food was good except the ribeye. We sat at the bar and the service was shotty. Then they brought out an overcooked piece of tough meat I would have labeled a sirloin not a ribeye- disappointing, however- the rest of the food was delicious enough to warrant a second chance.
I’m glad we came back! Reese was our server this time, did a great job, very attentive! The waffles that came with the chicken were like dessert- I ordered another two with the meal after tasting them.

This was my first time to Columbia, but based on the food here it is far from my last. They have a great Sunday brunch option if you are into mamosas and country comfort food. Since it is a steakhouse, I am going to recommend the steak. My cut was well marbled, cooked right, and delicious…I can recommend the NY Strip. The salad was crunchy, so I enjoyed it and the mashed potato casserole was quite good too. Also, with it being James K Polk area, I had to have his dessert…fantastic!
The wait staff was great, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was enjoyable for a family get together or even business. I will definitely be going back.

Great food BUT! The blue haired waitress with the stud piercing in her upper lip was extremely rude. We asked to turn fans off due to us being very cold. She laughed and said she disagreed, that she had been hot all day and that she could not turn the fans off also continued laughing. I hope the manager/owner can help her understand how this was not the best thing to say. Thank you and we will definitely be back, but she was very unprofessional and is not a good face for your business.
