First time experiencing Cincinnati Chili as somebody who doesn’t actually like most chili, and I was not disappointed.
The food was great (4-way with onions slaps) and you HAVE to try the chili spice ice cream topped with oyster crackers. This ice cream is the perfect blend of sweet and savory.
But what really made my lunch so special was the service. Rita, our server, was an absolute sweetheart. She leans into the family-friendly vibe of this location and provides customized service for each table.
All-in-all, this is a local chain, but the Newport location seems to embody a family-friendly, midwestern spirit that I would recommend.

We had to try Skyline Chili while in the Cincinnati area. The chili flavor was a little sweeter and not as hearty and normal chili. We had the child’s size spaghetti and the chili fries and the portions were reasonable for the price and the service was friendly.

They definitely don’t hold back on the cheese — no need to ask for extra! The food is delicious and worth the price, and the service is consistently fast, even during busy hours.
Parking can be a bit tight, especially around lunchtime, and getting in and out of the lot isn’t always the easiest. It’s usually busy during lunch, but the staff keeps things moving well.
Just a heads-up: you pay at the register instead of at your table, so there might be a short line. Overall, a solid spot for a tasty, satisfying meal.

First time here. It was a very pleasant experience. We had a very conscientious waitress who helped us make our choices. We both thought our food was very good. I ordered deluxe chili with the mountain of cheese on the side, and hubby ordered the chili with spaghetti noodles. 3 way chili.

First time in Kentucky and as always… looking for a spot to grub at. I was told about Skyline Chili and so why not?
I have to say, I absolutely have no regrets! Tried the cheese Coney with habanero cheese, 3-way with habanero cheese, and a side salad with habanero cheese.
The service was absolutely amazing and super friendly. They were actually happy for us for trying it the first time.

Had to try the chili and spaghetti. Being from Texas the chili was a little bland and thin for my taste. The cheese presentation was quite impressive. Overall not bad would return.

Waiting a half hour and walked from down the street for the green noodles. Everyone else had them; we didn’t though. And no fries with the kids meal. I could have saved $20 and made it from home. Very disappointed; my son was as well—it’s all he talked about today and ended up with plain noodles. Mark skyline off the list for awhile.

I regularly order from this restaurant through doordash. This time was the last straw. I ordered the black beans and rice four-way onion. I can’t believe how skimpy the serving is on cheaply made black beans and rice. This is shrinkflation at its worst. Why are you punishing people who are meat-free? I will not order from the store anymore. Highly disappointed.
