I had been wanting to try this place for awhile.
I like how they have a drive through. The customer service was good and food was ready within 5 mins.
I took the chicken and waffle home. But the time I got there I was pretty hungry. I ordered the spicy chicken fingers and waffle. Not a bad price right under $14. The chicken was really tasty and spicy enough. The waffle definitely tasted good but was not crispy like I like it. Thats really the only reason I give them 4 stars. However I will go back and give them a second chance.

I recently visited Southern Style Chicken & Waffle in District Heights and had a mixed experience. The fried chicken was delicious and definitely lived up to the hype, making the chicken and waffle dish enjoyable. However, the sandwich was quite disappointing—it just didn’t have the flavor I was hoping for. On a positive note, the fries were the real standout! Crispy and perfectly seasoned, they stole the show. Overall, a decent meal, but I wish the sandwich had matched the quality of the chicken. Their sauce paired well with everything.

I am not certainly ticked off. I never received my food. The driver went the wrong way. I let him know but He continued. He stopped communication with me would not answer the phone and lied about giving me my food. He marked it COMPLETE! I spent over $30 on my food and did not receive it. I had no point of contact as the store DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. The store doesn’t answer and the driver stole my food. I want a full refund. I had to borrow that money to eat. Please contact me.
