UPDATE: Since my original review, I’ve ordered catfish and grits several times, and I am still loving it. Today I ordered biscuits and gravy, and the portion size was incredibly large. The gravy was tasty, but unfortunately it was too salty for me. I would also like for you to consider offering a larger size beverage. I need my sweet tea, lol, but your cups are too small
Loved my delivery order, except for being disappointed that you were sold out of salmon croquettes. This was my first order, but wont be my last for sure. The fried catfish were very tasty, and you know how to make grits 🙂

Southern Stop is one of the newest staples at the Oaks Mall food court and definitely now one of my favorites. The staff were so kind and helpful, my food came out in less than 10 minutes too. Not to mention the shrimp and grits were honestly some of the best I’ve had to date. The grits were cheesy and flavorful, and the shrimp was seasoned to perfection. The only thing I could ask for is more shrimp in the bowl, mine had 6 total and I could’ve eaten a ton they were so tasty. Nevertheless, I will be back and will be sending my coworkers over as well!

Delicious, FRESH, southern home cooked style food!!! I ordered the Catfish meal. They also SERVE BREAKFAST ALL DAY, unlike Chick-fil-A. Happy a Black American owned business has graced the Mall. May the Mall and this business be blessed with continued business and support. God Bless America .

Mike and Willie are friendly and prompt, respectful, the food was hot fresh and amazing!!!! Catfish was beyond delicious and stayed crispy till the last piece. The cheese grits were how grits are supposed to be, creamy, hot and fresh. Can not say enough positive things.

The salmon croquettes and fried pork chops are heavenly!!! The food is always pipin hot fresh and the team is friendly and attentive. You can tell the owners put their heart into this business. Would highly recommend this spot to friends and family.

There is no reason customers should wait 15-20 minutes for fried food that is not even warm!
