We came from Lexington for a doctor’s appointment and needed lunch afterwards. I got the country fried steak, Mac & cheese, Jamaican cabbage & corn nuggets. She got fried chicken, rice and gravy, Mac&cheese & collards. Our food was amazing, hot, came out fast and tasted delicious. Our server was great and a sweetheart. We especially loved the Gospel music playing in the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back to try the buffet next time. Thank y’all!

We went in after buffet hours expecting to order from the menu, but they hadn’t broken down the hot bar and offered a good price on that if we wanted it. There was still plenty there so we went for it. I say all that to say, we couldn’t tell that this had been out for a while, everything tasted great! It was Friday, so there was whole catfish: crispy on the outside, moist and flaky on the inside. The other meats and veggies were just what you want from a soul food place. The owners were very friendly and made it a pleasant visit. When we’re back near Greenwood, they’ll be on our radar.

I came after lunch time around 2pm. However, I was still very pleased with the buffet options. I had the meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, butter and lima beans, collards, cabbage, and peach cobbler for dessert. It was all very tasty, seasoned well. The beans were probably my favorite.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was reasonably priced! I can’t wait til the next time I’m in the area to go again!
