This is a takeout place only. Very nice customer service. I think he was the owner. Me and my friend went and we ordered half rack ribs, candied yams, collard greens and macaroni & cheese. The dinner came with a meat, 2 sides and a cornbread. Everything was soo good I loved the smoked ribs, with that SAUCE!!

Addicted to this place. After my 1st order of ribs I’ve been here at least 2 days a week faithfully. Will continue and you should as well. The ribs are so tender the bones are tender as well. YUM! Love it

I ordered 3 pulled chicken sandwiches. All the hard rolls had mold on them. The chicken was the most dried out chicken I’ve ever had. I had the man serving me put what he called his homemade BBQ sauce on the side. Homemade BBQ sauce LOL all it was is water down ketchup. I also ordered a half pound of brisket. The brisket was the driest pork roast I’ve ever had as well. There was no seasoning or smokey flavor at all. The owner said he’s been in business for 21 years. This must be a hobby for him. Also not sure how he stayed under the health department radar for the past 21 years. I will never return to this horrible food truck.

Went last night and the Mac and cheese was delicious; the brisket and ribs were tasty but very tough.
The brisket was cut into almost medallion size pieces and it took a good minute to chew.
The ribs were not trimmed and still had the silver skin on them and were also tough.
Not as bad as the brisket though.
Sadly this was my last trip

My boyfriend and I stopped here on my birthday. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The ribs were juicy and tender, the chicken was as well. The yams and potato salad were everything!! I didn’t get to try the soda but I will next time. The owner was kind and nice and everyone should visit his establishment.

So this is my review. The flavors are amazing. I had the beef brisket sandwich and a side of mac and cheese. Both had good flavor but both were very dry. I usually go taino but they’ve been closed due to carona v. So im checking out other places for my bbq fix. Like I said their flavors are good but maybe they should not cook their meat as long and give it a good rest. Or maybe a lower slower approach. This is just constructive criticism. Also with your mac a nice smoked cheddar,American, Colby mix would do wonders for you. All and all a good bbq. Would like them to go next level

If you are looking for some true authentic smoked BBQ in CT, this would be the place to stop. Best smoked BBQ in the state. NO one compares. They use hardwood to smoke the meats. Prices are fantastic and portions are great! You are truly missing out if you do not stop in. Great destination for bikers as well.

Delicious southern style BBQ pulled pork. Ordered for a luncheon and it was a huge hit. Picking up more tonight since there’s none left to take home to hubby. Don’t pass this by without a stop to taste the sweet Smokey flavor. 5 stars definitely.
