We stopped at Dhaba Mitran Da while traveling with three families, and it was easily the highlight of our trip! Finding a place that can accommodate a large group and keep everyone happy isn’t always easy, but this spot nailed it.
Why we loved it:
The Food: Truly fabulous! Every dish was authentic and packed with flavor. It was the perfect fuel for our journey.
The Chai: This was hands-down some of the best chai we’ve had. It’s a must-order!
The Sweets: You can tell they put heart into their desserts. They tasted exactly like homemade sweets—fresh, delicious, and not overly processed.
Kid-Friendly: The kids had a blast and the atmosphere was welcoming for our big group.
If you are passing through Winfield or looking for a great meal on your way to your destination, do yourself a favor and stop here. We will definitely be back!

Locally owned and operated. This looks and feels like a families hard work and love.
I ndian food, showers, bathrooms, and general gas stations items like snacks, drinks and very basic car needs.
Kind staff & good food. Great place for a family or small trucks to stop. Not quite big enough or sturdy enough for big rigs or large group caravans.
Even if you are not hungry get some naan for the road. Its a warm and perfect car snack.

Amazing place to enjoy Punjabi Food. Owner is very friendly guy. Food tastes amazing. Quantity is little less for 3 people. Just order accordingly. Also, make sure to take your own disposable bowls and plate if you want.

It is an amazing place and a hidden gem. Outside is a gas station and did not feel like there will be a dhaba inside. Loved all the veg curries (dal tadka, dal makhni, baigan bharta, butter paneer) and breads which we ordered. Felt like we were eating food inside a North Indian dhaba. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. . Only request is to have Paratha available for Dinner too.

What an amazing place! We stopped here during a road trip and were blown away by the authentic Indian-Pakistani cuisine, especially the traditional Punjabi flavors. The owner, Ravi, is incredibly friendly and clearly takes great pride in both his food and hospitality. If you’re ever passing through, I highly recommend stopping by—especially for their excellent vegetarian dishes. A must-try spot!

This isn’t your typical restaurant. It’s a small, no-frills spot that feels more like a stop for travelers heading to or from Dallas. They serve fresh, hot, and truly delicious Punjabi food. Everything is made to order. The dishes tasted homely and comforting, a great find if you’re craving authentic Punjabi flavors.
