My experience wasn’t so great, I came in the last hour so hopefully that was the issue, but that’s not an excuse to have old food. The fresh food that came out really didn’t have a good taste at all, so that’s the reason for 3 stars.

We love this place! The first time I went there, they turned the open sign off when we pulled in the parking lot. We were going to leave but were flagged down and the girl insisted that we come on in. We got our food to go and it was great. We have been hooked ever since. The fatfish is awesome and so are the people. If you have the chance to eat there, you won’t be disappointed.

Food was good. People are extremely nice. One of the cooks seen that a full pan of fries had been sitting a while and offered to cook more. The karaoke host Spence even got my girlfriend to sing a song!

My son bought lunch for me today! I had the turkey neck lunch with cabbage, green beans and it came with a corn pancake. It was all delicious. Not salty or over dressed. Simply good home cooking. He said his Philly steak sandwich was also very good. We will definitely order again soon.

Restaurant in the former HT Pounders building. This place has a small buffet with fresh food routinely filled. Staff is friendly and mostly related. A little of the beaten track. Good food decent ice cream. Not very crowded. Good southern food.

Southern Grubb is the place to be , anytime you want good southern cooking and the best of service. And Saturday nights The best in Karaoke entertainment with KJ Charlie Spencer and T Roxx. Some of the best singers in the area perform here weekly. Pop corn Jan & Zeke (The Z-Man Rivers) Jerry Dillard Tonya Just to name a few. Service is great . Food is yummy
